You cannot go wrong~~~
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/09
We've been going to MB for over 30 yrs and have stayed at the Indigo Inn for the last 10-12 of those years. It is clean, friendly, right on the beach, the maintenance people are always working to keep it in tip top shape. The pool and jacuzzi are awesome. You do not have to cross the street to park your car, parking is in front of the motel. We will be going back here again this year.

Great Place to Stay!
By JenC, 06/18/08
My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels along the grand strand and this one by far has been one of the best. The room was huge and very clean, the management was wonderful and the location is awesome! The pool was right on the beach and always very clean and the hotel itself was very quiet. We will definitely stay again!

DISASTER!!!!!
By Karla, 06/12/08
My experience with Indigo Inn in Myrtle Beach SC is a horrible one! While we were out of the room the housekeeper cleaned it. When we came in my daughter noticed her clothes missing. The housekeeper who cleaned our room "said" she took my daughters clothes and threw them away. While my daughter was in tears over this, since she had two brand new bathing suits, multiple shorts and shirts and Victoria's Secret undergarments, I had her to make a list of all the items. Her list totaled $300.00. The manager said he was only willing to give her 1/3 of the amount even though they were liable for everything. One bathing suit alone cost $100.00. The housekeeper is only suppose to touch the beds, clean the bathrooms and empty the trash only from the trash can. This outraged me!!! They would not even allow us to look for the items in the dumpster. Please do not make the same mistake....STAY AWAY FROM THE INDIGO INN!!!

Amazing!
By Bubbles, 11/15/07
Indigo Inn was the most amazing place to stay! It was our fist time to Myrtle Beach. The staff was so very kind and accommodating. The location was the best, being so close to the beach. We hope they have a vacancy for us the next time we come to Myrtle Beach because we can't wait to come back!

This place was more than we expected!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/07
All the reviews we read were good but we still worried b/c of the great rates. If that is your concern rest assured. It's not a high rise but that was not what we were looking for. This is a small "family place" to stay. The rooms were very clean; the employees were very friendly and helpful. Example: the toilet stopped up one evening and with in 3 mins the maintenance man was there to fix it. Now, if this had been at a larger place how long do you think it would have been before we saw anyone?? The thing I liked most was there was a large tiled area when you first enter the room (away for the kitchen or living area) perfect for storing your chairs, cooler, beach bags and all that extra sand we seem to carry in. This made it easy to dust off, undress or even go into the shower w/out spreading sand every where. My only complaint was the bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. Otherwise, it was a great trip. Small hint: go ahead book that extra day........if you are like us you always wish you could stay just one more day!!

Not Impressed!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/25/07
I just recently stayed at Indigo Inn for a week and was not impressed at all. Upon driving 6.5 hours to get to the beach, I were not greeted or welcomed at all. During check-in, the lady stayed on the phone most of the time, until she needed my payment for the room. Check-out was basically the same, the man stayed on the phone and took my room keys, said "thank you", and then continued his phone conversation. I know the hotel is an older one, but it definately could use some improvements. The bathroom was not vented, and the tub/shower could be improved. The bathroom floor was very rough and dirty. Sheets on our beds were not changed during our week-long stay. The maid did as little as possible and our room was not vaccumed while we were there. Using the elevator took forever, and many times we rode the elevator with dirty laundry that the maids had thrown in to take down to the bottom floor...you can imagine the wonderful smell this produced in a hot elevator! The entire staff never made me or my family feel welcomed. The only thing positive I can say is that they are in a good, quiet location and the rocking chairs on the balcony are very nice. But even that is not enough for me to stay at the Indigo Inn ever again.

Very good vacation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/13/07
We really enjoyed our trip last summer. We had four adults and two children in our party. The only complaint was the shower heads were too low for the guys and the elevators were extremely slow. Overall a very nice place. One of the few "Mom and Pop's" left.
