Valu-Lodge, Greenville

This place was awful. The room that we had was so nasty that we put sweat shirts over our pillows to sleep and we never changed into our night clothes to sleep because we felt the beds were too nasty. We slept on top of the covers. The area apparently was not safe. When we checked in, the area at the check in window had a glassed in area with guard dogs that jumped at us and the hotel cleck was behind a glassed in area. We could not wait to get out of there. We actually feared for our safety. Sheets had holes in them. Floor was awful. It had trash all over it and even had a chicken bone on the floor. Will never be caught in a place like that again.

The hotel has a great location. The staff is excellent and are sincerely kind people. The only problem we saw was some construction materials outside (they were remodeling). We stayed there for a week on business in Greenville and once while passing through on I-85. It was very convenient and had the best price we could find for a clean and safe room.

this place was the most affordable and conveniently located hotel. staff is very nice, other residents are friendly as well. the restroom wasnt as clean as i liked initially, but all you have to do is ask the staff to correct anything. overall i will stay here again.
