Ace Conference Center, Lafayette Hill

We had my son's wedding at the ACE and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. The service, the cuisine, the staff, the cleanliness, the ambiance, everything was just great! Our coordinator, Cheryl was just wonderful and pleasant to work , as was Jeff who helped us with all our needs, also the rest of the staff, I cannot remember all the names, that helped put the wedding in place. The food both at the cocktail hour and the reception was really exceptional. Given that the bride & groom worked with Cheryl from out-of-town, we were all very impressed with the super superb accommodations,the food, and service, even the service on the eve of the wedding, with Jeff as our waiter. As far as the family and guests were concerned, everything rated a five star affair. Included with the rooms was a fantastic breakfast, no one could ask for anything more! Both the family and the guests just loved the food and the desserts!.............Bravo!!

My brother and his fiance had their wedding recpetion here. I read the previous reviews but I believe the Ace Center is under new management and recently had an overhaul. My experience and that of the rest of the guests with us was totally opposite of previous reviewers. The Staff there was fantastic and the facilities (including the rooms we stayed in) were clean and first rate. The food was excellent and the service was very professional. I didn't play golf while there but the course looked amazing (apparently also recently refurbished). I would definitely use the Ace Center for future events.

I did not like this place at all. The service was awful, the rooms were dirty along with the conference area meeting rooms. You have to walk miles on end to get to anywhere in the place,, they lack elevators, theres only one in the place. And the price you pay to stay and meet there is way out there. The place is a dump and the they need a new set of employees and management team at the establishment.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY. Upon driving to the facility I received a phone call stating that the conference center was overbooked and I would need to leave on the last night of my stay. I had made reservations months prior in advance and received a confirmation #. I was schedule to take a certification exam on the day I was checking out and staying at another facility to me was not an option. The words I am sorry were never said. How can a facility run by taking reservations then kicking people out.

My best friend had reservations here for what she thought would be a celebration of good news about her health problems. Instead she had bad news the morning she was supposed to leave for Pennsylvania. She called the ACE Conference Center from her doctor's office and they said she could cancel the reservation ONLY by paying for one night's stay. Well, she was so upset and confused that she drove up there anyway. The people were not at all helpful. She had to walk miles with her luggage. The parking is miles away from all the rooms and you have to walk a long distance outside in the bad weather as well as through all the conference facilities before you get to the guest rooms. There also were many, many stairs to negotiate from the parking lot to the building. Would it have killed these people to help out a dying woman who was in great pain by letting her out of the penalty? This is just plain heartlessness. She said her room was very nice with a lovely view. It's too bad she couldn't enjoy it.

The area is so serene and relaxing. Looking out the windows onto the golf course and seeing the deer is a wonderful reminder of nature and man working in harmony. The rooms are comfortable and one can easily work with a spectacular view. Conference facilities are world class and the hospitality of the staff is awesome.
