Noisest Hotel Ever! No way is it a 3*

Ok, I knew we were in trouble when we pulled up to check in and there were cop cars with lights flashing outside. I asked the front desk clerk if there was a cop convention or what. he smiled and ignored me. I pressed him and he admitted they had a "little trouble" but it was under control now.
There are no elevators, so if you are on the second floor, you have to lug your bags up the stairs.
There is an indoor pool in the middle of the hotel, where a court yard would be. Thus, half the rroms face the pool. The smell of clorine hits you when you enter the room and the whole pool area is like a huge cavern. Every noise is heard and when you get people with screaming toddlers staying there, kiss your sleep goodbye.
From the early morining, when it was kids til late a night when it was teens, it was like there was a pool party right outside your door. Oh, and speaking of pool parties, they rent out the pool to non guests for parties, so it gets even noisier as the day wears on.
We had checked in at about 1 AM and were knocked out of bed by kids screaming in the pool about 9 AM the following morning. Off I went to the front desk to ask to be moved. While the front desk clerk was apologizing for the noise, a man came up and asked where the pool party was. I turned to the clerk and said..so now it's gonna get noiser. Her response- we dont do parties at night, just during they day. When I asked her what happens when a paying guest wants to sleep in, she just looked at me.
They claimed they had no rooms to switch me to. I then asked if they could then repair the room I was in. The clerk asked what was wrong. I said the nob for the shower was falling off and didnt work but that was okay because the hair of the prior guest was still in the tub and no way I was taking a shower until it was cleaned. She said housekkeping would fix it and they did.
We came back about 9 PM that night and the parking lot is half empty. So much for there not being any other rooms they could move me to, huh?
That night there were screaming teens in the pool til almost 12 AM and then they were running up and down the hallway on the other side of us.
Next morning I tried to take a shower. There is almost no water pressure. It was like trying to bath under a dripping faucet.
Dont stay here...unless you have screaming kids who you let run amuck and dont care if you ever sleep again.
