Very Good Value

My wife, 3-year old daughter, and I stayed here for four nights.
Location was excellent (18 minutes from Independence Hall, 14 from the zoo). All parts of the Philly region were easily accessible.
Lobby floor and our room VERY clean (hallways and public areas on room floors a bit dirtier than expected, but nothing major). Room size is typical of a hotel room. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was spotless. Bathroom very clean. Cleaning service was decent, although inconsistent, occasionally missing minor messes (pretzel crumbs) and not leaving enough towels/washcloths. Room appearance was nice, with recent updates and nice furniture, but with some cosmetic defects.
Do not buy coffee from the "Starbucks" stand in the lobby. They may use Starbucks coffee, but the mocha tasted worse than the coffee that comes out of the small room coffee pots. We did not visit any of the hotel's restaurants.
The indoor pool, while of the typical small hotel size, was probably the best part. The entire pool facility was CLEAN. Located in the center of the first floor (and not relegated to some dark and neglected corner of the building), it was a very relaxing place for me and my family at the end of the day.
Wireless service was slow with inadequate signal strength from our room on the fourth floor. The cable DSL was very fast.
Overall, it's not a tip-top, perfect hotel, but it wears the Hilton name well. Moreover, its location and family-friendly environment will make it a place we will look forward to returning to if/when we are in the Philadelphia region again.
