Days Inn Chester Philadelphia Airport, Chester

This was the worst hotel I have ever been to. The pool was empty and had trash in it (not that I would have felt safe in a pool in the dark, dingy basement) The "Gaming facilities" is one video game in the lobby next to a soda machine and the "Business Center is an outdated computer on a card table. The neighborhood is unsafe and the staff at the hotel could not care less about their customers. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!

The rooms were dirty, smelly and the ceiling in the bathroom was falling in. Found hair in the bathroom sink, "spots" on the sheets. The desk help was unfriendly, unable to speak English and definately did not want to be bothered trying to communicate with us. Our fleight was canceled and they charged us for the night we did arrive and claimed to have no rooms for the next night as we did not pre-book for that date. THE WORST!!!!!

I stayed here last Sunday night. I could tell this Days Inn had seen better days - everything is somewhat worn, and the elevator is one of the slowest I've been on. The location is not close to any decent restaurants, don't even contemplate eating at the attached restaurant: Dawn's Diner - it's a thoroughly depressing place with unappetizing food. The room seemed ok, at least the a.c. worked, but my surprise came at 3:00am when I awoke with a bite on my neck. I thought it was a mosquito and went back to sleep. But at 5:30am, I was bit again, and when I turned the lights on, I saw that the bed was infested with bedbugs. I had never seen these before and was disgusted as they were crawling out from the mattress and from behind the headboard. I immediately got up, showered and took all of my clothes and sealed them in plastic bag. I told both the person at the front desk and the room cleaners, but the only response was either a chuckle or some vague, " We'll look into it". This was the last time I will ever stay in a Days Inn.

I have stayed at hotels around the world but this Days Inn happens to be the worst. Dirty surroundings, carpets, rooms, elevators etc. Don't recommend to anyone!!!

I was staying here on business for 2 weeks. When I arrived at my place of business, they suggested I get out of Chester ASAP for my own safety. The hotel was VERY dirty and the elevators actually did not close when they went up and down!! For your own sake, avoid this hotel.

We had a very nice stay at the days inn ...the ladies behind the front desk were very helpful and very efficient.The rooms were very clean. We only had 1 slight problem..the pool turned my daughters hair green. The resteraunt next to the hotel also had great food and a great staff.
