Hotel Management should wear a mask
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/20/09
For what they charge they should wear a mask when they take your money. Poor service, unfriendly staff, arrogant obnoxius management (except Wayne), poor quality drinks. The resturant food is good as well as the landscape around the pool. We are all waiting for the Raven to open its doors so we have a good place to share time with friends and family.

I was already there...............
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/18/09
Why would you charge patrons $15.00 at 10:00pm to enter a bar where they have already been for 2 to 3 hours. I left to use the bathroom tried to get back into the bar and they would not let me in without paying a $15.00 cover charge. I know it was for charity but I had already spent more than enough money on their outrageously priced drinks. The staff is rude, the bathrooms are disgusting - the place may be beautiful but they need to do a lot more to learn how to treat their guests!!!!!!!!!

Just had a great 3 day weekend with friends and can' wait to go back. Staff was so friendly, rooms very clean, pet friendly and very good food. And the club was a lot of fun!

Overpriced drinks to some
By Joey, 01/13/09
I ordered 4 drinks and paid 20 dollars, One was a soda. When my friend went back to the SAME bartender, he paid 12 dollars MINUS the soda! That is just wrong to favor some customers AND this bartender had not seen my friend in MONTHS ! These old Raven NYer's will fall in New Hope. They will never be part of the town !

DONT KNOW WHERE YOU WERE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/12/08
After traveling up from Ft Lauderdale my friend and I went to the Raven only to find it relocated. Some staff still remain, and as usual we enjoyed dinner and drinks .The service and food were superb. The dining room Manager explained growing pains, Since I was unaware at that time accomaditions were available we did not stay . I am looking foward to my return and planing to stay next visit.

Cleverly disguised DUMP!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/08
This destination "resort" is a tacky attempt to be something it is not. The main focus is to get as much out of you for as little effort as possible. Sticks out like a sore thumb in quaint New Hope. The rooms are dated and the whole complex reminds me of a cruisy bathhouse....a very overpriced brothel. They crammed the main bar, restaurant, piano bar, and dance floor all into one area. Small plates with a big price with mediocre food. Management is run by a former Realtor and Used car salesman and it shows. The Nevermore....absolutely.....NEVER MORE!!!

Awful
By Jason, 01/01/08
Management is very arrogant, place is not worth the money, $3 dollars for a soda for the vending machine? Dinner was way overpriced, I think someone needs to explain to them what tapas is...

Nice Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/07
My partner and I stayed the first weekend in October. We have stayed at this hotel previouly and was so pleased to see the extensive work the new owners are doing. I would highly suggest this hotel to open minded people. We look forward to many more visits.

The worst motel EVER!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/07
My friend's wedding was this past weekend and she reserved a large block of rooms for everyone in the wedding party. We were told that the first night would be $139 and the second night would be $169. They quoted her these prices in March when she made the reservations, it's now October. Upon checking out on Sunday, they charged us $179 for both nights and weren't concerned that we were extremely angry about this. All they care about is charging people an insane amount of money for staying in their disgusting motel. For $179 I would expect breakfast, vending machines, and a room nicer than the one we had. Checkout was at 11:00 and around 10:00 a man came and knocked on our door and told us, in a not so friendly way, that we needed to be out by 11:00. I've never, ever had a hotel do that. They tell you when check out is when you check in, so there was no reason for them to come beating on our door to remind us. The staff was unfriendly and so incredibly rude. You'd be better off staying at a B&B in New Hope or Lambertville.

Has seen better days
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/07/07
This is a former Holiday Inn from the early 60's. It has been a Best Western for the past several years but that has ended too. The place was sold in September 2007 and is going to be renovated into a gay resort, owned by The Raven Resort up the street in New Hope. Stand by. It OK for a night's stay but not a vacation.
