Needs a lot of improvement

The first problem was calling to get directions to the hotel. We were just 2 blocks away but couldn't find the hotel. The person on the phone did not know how to tell us to go. He only knew directions from one street and that was the one outside of the hotel.
Next, the shower floor had cracked and standing water oozed from underneath the crack. Our feet got pinched in the crack and cold moldy water ran out. In addition, the shower faucet was completly black with mold.
I mentioned all of these problems at check out and wrote a comment card. The girl at the desk took our phone number to give to the manager but we have never heard from anyone. We definatly will not be staying at another LaQuinta Hotel. I wonder if we get lesser rooms when booking through your service.
