Destructive housemaid & irresponsible owner and manager
My one-week stay at this hotel is spoiled by my glasses being broken by the housemaid while I was at work. I immediately brought my crushed glasses to the attention of the manager, who said they will do an internal investigation and get back to me. They never did. After numerous calls from my end and lots of broken promises to get back to me from their end, Jessica, the manager, finally told me that the owner believes the housekeeper in that he denies breaking my glasses while I was at work. I raised the issue to Best Western Corporate but was told they have no say in dealing with these matters because the hotel is individually-owned, even though it carries the BW brand. I'm very disappointed with how the spineless manager and the irresponsible owner handled my complaint, despite it being an isolated incident. I would caution people away from staying here if they could because the hotel will not hold themselves liable for breaking your property.
