Truly A Perfect Experience
By OH Law, 11/4/09
The Inn itself was beautiful and relaxing. The honeycombs were perfect for our law firm retreat and the service was 5star! Cannot wait to go back next year!

The most relaxing weekend we have spent in years!
By dennie, 5/16/07
My husband and I had a great weekend. The rooms are very cozy and the staff friendly. This is truly one of Ohio best places to go for a relaxing vacation.

It was beautiful!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/2/07
This place is very peaceful, located in a beautiful setting. It's so relaxing there, you'll definitely want to go back. The food in their dining room is delicious!! The room was romantic & comfortable (we were in the Honeycombs). The owner is very hands-on, and is very good at what he does.

Almost Heaven
By Keith, 1/21/07
I've stayed in the Lakeside Cottage a dozen times over the last 15 years. Each visit has been unique; each visit has been wonderful. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there. (We're still happily married.) We've invited friends to join us. We've invited family to join us. Everyone has enjoyed the time spent there. The trails are the best part. As many times as I've hiked them, each time is different. I've seen wildlife from deer to wild turkeys to rabbits to critters I still don't rcognize. The cemetary next door is another adventure. There is no cell phone coverage (at least as of the last time I was there). Ditto wireless internet. If you think you can't do without those things, don't go. Its a window on a better world. Almost heaven.

Beautiful and peacefull
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/06
Although Amish country has become very commercial, the Inn has been able to keep the commercialism at bay. One of the most tranquil and beautiful places that exist.

Relaxing days and nights.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/05
Quiet, relaxing, peaceful, etc. Comforting to sit around a woodburning fireplace, sipping a nice glass of wine, being served locally made chocolates, enjoying good food and service in the dinning room, watching the birds at the feeder outside the bedroom window, or just walking at a leasurely pace thorough the woods on a spring afternoon. We will be back this fall to enjoy the colors and be proud of our discovery of this treasure so close to home. PS: No children under 12 allowed! Peaceful.
