HORRRRRRRIBLE!!!!!

As soon as I went to the check-in, I asked the gentlemen if the hotel had any "extra guests" (crawly type) and if it was non-smoking. He assured me that I need not be concerned about either because they had recently done some remodeling and that there was new ownership. As soon as I opened the door to the room, I immediately knew that he was lying about the response given to at least one of my questions since I began to cough uncontrollably from the fumes that greeted me at the door. I went back to the front desk to get my money back and find another hotel but my friend was tired from the long drive so he gave us another room. This one looked as if there was no housekeeping staff on staff and I was headed to the front desk again until she agreed to clean the room herself. The bathroom had missing tiles in the shower area, as well as, yes, you guessed it, the crawly guests that they denied having , the beds had trash underneath them, the ceiling looked as if they had leakage problems with a half-hearted repair job and to top that off they were actually rooms rented to people who lived like this everyday. I called CHOICE HOTELS (the parent company) to make them aware and all they did was give me the number to the actual DUMP to have them deal with it. I spoke with the general manager and she fed me more foolishness about the recent remodel. POPPYCOCK! You would be better off sleeping on the street!!!!! DON'T LATE THE RATING FOOL YOU, IF I COULD GET AWAY WITH GIVING THEM NEGATIVE SCORES I WOULD! HORRRRRRRIBLE!!!!!
