Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/5/08
The first room I was given had no lights or furniture, room smelled smoky, and there was wallpaper and pieces of what appeared to be ceiling all over carpet. When I went to the desk, the clerk seemed more interested in convincing me she was new and that she was not responsible for assigning me that room. It took almost 45 mins. to get checked in to my second room (from arrival). Then I later found that I was double billed. That is still pending.
In second room, one bed frame had been broken and repaired poorly, with metal braces sticking out 4" past bed frame,I hit my shin on brace and broke skin. Bathroom in bad need of repair, toilet was loose and appeared ready to fall over, soap dish in shower rusted badly. Lampshades had mold/mildew on them, lightbulb was burned out, and carpet was stained. Could smell smoke in room despite being a non-smoking room and found burn holes in blanket. The day shift Manager was apologetic, but made no attempt to make it right. Bad Neighborhood! I will never stay at a Ramada Inn again.
