Economy Inn West Chester, West Chester

Requested a non smoking room, two beds, for four people. We unloaded and took off for some sights. When we returned to our room, we realized there were only two towels. When requested towels from front desk, we were denied any more towels. The employee would not give us any towels. I requested an alarm clock since there was not one in the room (as advertised). The clerk then handed me a clock with all the knobs broken! This clerk would not give us any extra pillows or blankets, either. So, thank goodness there is a Wal-Mart close by. Then we found out that the air conditioning unit leaked under the carpet, which explained the nasty musty smell in the room. And the bathroom was in extreme need of repair. The floor was stained from water overflow, the toilet ran very loudly all night long, and the shower was in bad need of some bleach. Again, thank goodness for Wal-Mart. The pool is not much bigger than a bath tub, and the breakfast consisted of your choice of three different types of Little Debbie Cakes or a fruit bar. This is definately not the hotel for a vacation stop. If you just need a place to get sleep before getting back on the road, it may be acceptable to you. But it was definately not okay for an extended stay with your family.
