WASTE OF TIME / MONEY / NOT PET FRIENDLY
By , 10/16/08
Advertised online and showing the clerk the laptop advertisment and they still would not accept it. Read the reviews and decide for yourself. Honestly its worth $20+ and then $15 more on pet deposit to go to Super 8 in Black MOuntain. 10 Short Miles away. THE OWNER IS A GREEDY B!T*H

VERY unfriendly management
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/07
The location and price of the motel are decent but I have never encountered such a rude and unfriendly manager such as the one who runs this motel. He is a man of what looks like Indian decent in his mid-late 40's. He was very unwelcoming and seemed to be bothered by the fact that he had to check us in. He never smiled, said hello or thank you. This man's negative demeanor made me very uneasy about staying in his motel because obviously he does not care about the wellbeing of his customers. I chose to stay at this motel because of the decent rates but I can tell you that because of this man's attitude I will never stay there again. Saving a little bit of money on a room is not worth being made to feel like you are an inconvenience, especially since you are the one feeding this man's family. I do not recommend this motel to anyone.

One angry man shop keep.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
Absolutly terrible. I check in and ask for a quiet room. I go out to a wedding and my girl and I get back. The smoke detector in now beeping slowly from a low battery. I turn off the water to the toilet because it starts flushing randomly. I call the front desk and ask if I could remove the battery and he says it's wired in,(I know better, he seem to forget that smoke detectors are just about everywhere) and hangs up on me. So I walk down to the front desk and ask again then this little man starts yelling at me from behind his glass about how late it is and how he's tired. I explain to him that I'm paying for HIS services. It goes nowhere so I remove the battery carefully and place it next to the television. We leave in the morning and later I find out I've been over charged by about fifty dollars. Wow. Don't ever stay here of the place across the street either, the gals at gas station say there the same people.
