Roach Hotel
By all means the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We read that they are doing a million dollars worth of renovations but i suppose they forgot to call the exterminator. When we walked in we were greeted by both baby and adult roaches scurrying over our luggage and on the walls. We immediately called the front desk but were apprehensive, seeing the giant gap under the door where roaches could easily scurry in and out of all the rooms. An hour later, after being told there were no vacancies, 20 magically appeared and they moved us a few doors down. Upon entering the second room we instantly found hair and roach carcasses in the ice bucket. It was now 5 am and we were exhausted. The shower was almost as scary as the roaches, separating from the wall and filled with hair and grime. The lights stayed on to ward off the roaches, we didn't shower, and we stayed away from breakfast. Upon checking out from this horrific nightmare, we found out our quoted $75 including tax, was charged as $90 on our credit card. When speaking to the General Manager, we were told that WE must have contaminated both of the rooms with the live and dead roaches, and if we didn't like it, we should have just left (it was 5 a.m.). And when I asked if all Comfort Inns are like this, he responded "I would stay away from Comfort Inns in the future". Our luggage is still in the car, because we fear contaminating our entire apartment and adding more cost to this nightmare. I'm so sorry I took my family here. One of the scariest experiences we've ever had in our travels.
