Horrible cancellation policy
I stayed here in June of 2006 after a weekend in New York City.
I had business on Long Island that Monday, and made my reservation at this hotel. It became obvious to me driving along the LIE that I had made a horrible mistake and booked a room for too far out on the island (I really needed to be near JFK). When I called the national number, I had just missed the cancellation deadline, but they said I could check at the hotel. I continued my drive out there, arriving about 2� hours after the deadline.
Sadly, the hotel was terribly underbooked, and the management told me that they would not cancel my reservation. Keep in mond that I use this hotel chain well over 100 nights a year.
In any case, the room was clean, but there really wasn't anything around the hotel except a 7-11. Unfortunately, their unwillingness to work with me means I will never stay there again.
