East Hampton Inn, East Hampton

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is disgusting. We got this place mixed up with East Hampton House, which is right down the street, and found out when we got there. We stayed 1 night and left the next morning. We had 2 nights booked but could not and would not stay the second night. This is a prime spot for bedbugs, and I was not going to stay to find out. This place should be an ambarrasment to the town of East Hampton. Who would think that places like this still exist anywhere, never mind in the Hamptons. There are some good reviews, and they have to be written by the owner. I don't even think there is a staff here. I never saw another person in the place the short time we spent there. The pool that they claim to have is old and empty, and has been for years, and there is another above ground pool that is collapsed and just left lying on the grounds, which are just as disgusting as the rooms. The pictures on the website are very decieving. We left and went down the street and stayed at East Hampton House for the same price. I felt like I was in a 5 star resort after what we just left. Please stay away. I wish I had read reviews before we went, but this was a lesson learned and I will never make that mistake again.

i recently made reservations at the dutch inn and, due to a computer problem, never received a confirmation. further, the woman (cathe) who took the reservations never explained the cancellation policy. i had to amend the reservation. cathe was rude, hung up on me and showed a total lack of respect and disregard to a potential guest. If this is representative of the hotel - stay away!!!

we stayed just for 1 night but it was enough... it was one of the worst motel we have stayed so far... it actually ruined our good impression of long island.. things are just falling apart and in serious need of a revamp... Shower head not working, TV remote not working, toilet seat with urine stains, kitchen with no utensils, air-con unit that isn't in the room but in the living space... overall a bad value for your money... we would rather sleep in the car next time rather than to pay ~$200 for a pathetic place ..

Couldn't believe how bad this place looked and felt. Ants everywhere. No pool. A vat of old concrete filled with rain water. not even done or open. Cottages, what a joke, not even finished and looked like they started them a few years ago. We would have rather stayed in our car. We actually had no where else to stay but tried. We dressed with long sleeves before bed afraid that we would have bed begs. We drank a lot and stayed out as long as we could so we did not have to deal with this nightmare. Couldnt wait to leave next morning even though we had a 3 night minumum booked for over 300 bucks a night.

Clean rooms. Really nice breakfast. Beach parking passes. Very accommodating staff. Not a Mobil 5-star, but a good place at a good price.

Please weed!! We thought it was closed. Looked like a hotel from National lampoons" VACATION" Aesthetically poor on the outside. Not recommended and wont go back

these people are racist, they accused me of having a dog and once they check my room twice they went and search my car. They never even apologized for their action. They are liars and very disrespectful towards minority. I was told by the manger this morning that I am not welcome there any more. Like I would go back I never felt so violated.

good location, housekeeping very accommodating, front desk not, no amenities, but did include soap, worn out look, but did mow lawn, would have liked to recommend, but cannot

I recently stayed at the East hampton Inn (nee Dutch Motel) and was very pleasantly surprised. I was a little hestitant due to some of the reviews I saw online, but I experienced none of the disdappointments mentioned. The staff could not have done more to assist me and demonstrated great hospitality skills. The room was very comforatable and exceptionally clean. The manager explained the place was under new management. Perhaps that it was where all of the improvements are coming from. High marks for the East Hampton Inn!

ANTS everywhere! Towels looked to be bloodstained. Sewage smell the first night. Switched to East Hampton House right down the street. IT was less money and beautiful. I will never stay at the Dutch again.
