Ants were a bummer
By David, 6/20/11
Joanne at the service desk was a super nice person and very helpful. My only problem was with the room. The door handle to the room didn't work well and there were little ants all over in the room. Basically, the whole place could use and update. It seemed very dated. Didn't seem like i got much for my $120.

We would definitely stay again
By Erin, 4/11/08
My husband, 4 year old daughter and myself stayed here for one night because we were flying out of Westchester County Airport the next morning. After reading the reviews, I was very nervous..but we needed an airport shuttle and a place to leave our car for a week (since there is NO parking at the airport) so we had no other choice. But, in the end, we couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was friendly, the room and hotel itself very clean. We just grabbed something quick for breakfast, but it seemed like they had a pretty good selection. The shuttle leaves every 30 mins from 4:30am--midnight, and it's only about 10 minutes from the airport. There was an outdoor pool which obviously wasn't open in March. There is cable TV and pay-per-view movies available. My only complaint is that there is nothing around it, no restaurants or anything. So you'll have to drive which is hard if you're staying due to a business trip and have no car. There is a pizza place that delivers (and they even brought us plates!!) or Chinese food.

No choice while in Armonk Business Park
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/24/08
This hotel deserves a one star at most. I have been here five times due to having meetings in the Business Park. So I have no choice if I want to walk to my meetings. The last time they gave me a room that was already occupied and they try to book you as far from the front of the hotel as possible. The front is the only access as all other side and back doors are locked. The desk clerks are completely out of it and seem to be preoccupied with things other than the customer.

No More
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/22/07
After trying this hotel under its former name and now again after the transformation to a La Quinta I'm still disappointed. Aside from some new paint and a couple renovations this hotel still has major issues. There is always a problem getting hot water whether its day or night in the rooms. I left my shower running for 25 minutes in the morning and it never warmed up! The food at the restaurant/bar (when they decide to open) is not good by any standards. It appears dirty and is not well lit. Employees are for the most part inatttentive to guests' needs and can be quite rude.

Only stay because there is no choice
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/05
There is definately an opportunity for a good hotel in this area. It's the only one in good proximity to the corporate offices and they know they have a "captive" audience. Rooms are "tired" and are not cleaned well. What passes for the sports lounge has a poor selection and quality food. The "free" breakfast is not worth it. Would not stay here if I had other choice.

business hotel gone bad
By Linda, 9/27/04
My company regularly uses this hotel due to the proxcimity to CT and NY. Feels and looks like a motel that happens to have a ball room. Rooms certainly qualify in the motel rank. Food in the only resturant (sports bar) is not great and made worse by the severely limited menu.
