bed bugs at radisson!
By specialangel, 11/19/08
towels and blankets were stained up, dirty dishes, and bed bugs. I will never stay at any radisson again after my visit at jamestown, ny. how could they deserve to be called a radisson?

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/7/08
It took fives hours for us to get our room, even though we had reservations. Then they tried to put us in a petite room with one full size bed and we are two business partners. The front Desk Clerk (Virginia) needs a serious attitude adjustment. If I hadn't been so persistant we would have been stuck with the one bed. I talked with the manager (Nancy), which was very nice and understanding. She was able to get us another room, but it was twin beds, so we just settled for that. There was construction going on the whole trip that was very noisy. The bathrooms still need to be updated and the shower sprayed all over the floor. They charge 13.95 for internet and it did not work.

Rough Start. Ok Finish
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/21/08
Checked in around 11pm and receptionist was ok. Not terribly friendly, but whatever. I get up to my first room, which was on the 17th floor in the corner and for some reason, it and another room are behind a seperate door at the end of the hall. So the room across from mine, the door is taped shut with masking tape. I go into my room and the light doesn't work and it is freezing! I find the lamp, pretty big room (corner) and there is a small space heater on the floor. Not plugged in, or on, just sitting there. I go to the thermostat, and it doesn't work. No heat in Feb? I am thinking it was about 50 degrees in this room. I go down to front desk to get a new room and explain and the guy says "well, was the space heater on?". WHAT? So, they give me another room, no apology, and this one, well, it was better. Warm. Not the cleanest, but I was so tired I took it. I will not stay there again. No real problems after that, but I will pay more next time and stay somewhere nicer. Sushi at the Sushi bar was pretty good though! :)

Very bad experience
By Alan, 1/4/08
The hotel was under construction and the staff didn't even have the courtesy to inform guests that there would be excessive noise and disturbance right outside their room. Equipment in the room did not function properly. The staff was rude and couldn't care less if the customer was satisfied or not. All in all, there are far better options in New York. This hotel is not nearly worth the prices they charge.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/17/06
At the Raddison the hotel room was small adn the crpet was soiled inmy first room. In the second room I was given the shower curtain had mildew on it and I was the victim ofmany bed bug bits it was horrible. They refunded me one night's stay so far.

What a dump!
By Philip, 6/2/06
Outside of the convenient location, this place is terrible from start to finish: 1) Took 20 minutes for the trainee to check me in. 2) Keys didn't work. 3) 3 of the 5 elevators out of service. 4) Many rooms have doors that cannot open or close. Even housekeeping had a problem. 5) Many rooms face very LOUD A/C blowers which turn on and off every 30 minutes. 6) Your room may or may not get cleaned. I was successful on 2 of the 4 days I was there. 8) My bathroom looked like it was under construction. There was a hole where the tub drain should be and the shower was a water pipe with no head. If none of the above is important to you, the Radisson's a great choice!

Dreadful nightmare!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/16/05
Do avoid this hotel! It is plenty of moths, blankets have holes because of them and if you stay too many nights overthere, your clothes will get holes as well. And of course you will not be reimbursed because managers don't want to recognise this problem. (We were 5 people in 5 different rooms staying in this hotel, 3 out the 5 had holes because of moths after leaving the hotel). Half of the staff is not nice: their tone is aggressive for no reason. So don't ask for anything, they don't care if you are satisfied or not. The other half of the staff is nice. Bathrooms are old fashioned (not renewed for at least 30 years) and carpets and wallpapers seem very old. I have tried 3 rooms in total: the first one had a musty smell and with a thud each 5 secs. The second one was very noisy because of the non isulated window. The third one was almost normal. One day I had my room made, they rendered it to me much dirtier than I left it (bed not nicely made, toilet paper on the floor). Don't take any breakfast: the room is crowdy and food is not so good as in a Deli. Laundry is good. You have to pay for the internet connection (1 computer for all guests). So to conclude do not go to this hotel.

New York Experience
By Samantha, 12/12/05
The room was nothing special but ok for us it was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent we thought near to all main sights that we wanted. Service in the hotel was good reception staff excellent but the door staff we found were a little rude.
