Three months of On-Site Experience

I've been staying at this hotel for almost three months, and it will be six total when I'm done. The staff are exceptionally cordial, friendly, and have always gone out of their way. The Manager is phenominal! The hotel has undergone renovations as part of becoming a Best Western Plus, and let me tell you, it's quite nice. Amenities are above what most other hotels in the price range have. The Hot-tub is huge and works well! The outdoor pool isn't open yet. The exercise room doesn't have the greatest equipment, but it's good enough to break a sweat. Treadmills have TV access so you can watch and run. It's an older hotel, so naturally it's gotten some character and quirks, but it is ideally situated, clean, comfortable, and the staff is attentive. What else could you ask for?

We loved this hotel

We just LOVED this hotel. Our family stayed here in Cheektowaga to attend a funeral. We picked Cheektowga because it seemed much safer then staying in Buffalo. It was located near the highway and was close to everything. The room was comfy, extra clean, and the front desk was overly helpful and friendly. I would stay here again. The best part was their complimentry hot breakfast and 24 coffee. We started every morning with eggs and bacon. Also, if you hasppen to be in the lobby in the afternoon they're always baking cookies. They had free internet, heated pool, and a fitness room. I have nothing bad to say. Would definiately stay again. They even printed our boarding passes for our flight.

Come on..... Service is LACKING!!!!

How much longer is this place going to be boring. The front desk shift in the afternoon is soooooo impersonal. It use to be nice but i seen a lot of change over at the front desk. I want to just want to say to the managers 'you had a good group of front desk agents before!!!!" I stay often and lately i have thought about changing my location. The service here is NOT up to holiday inn standards else were

Horrible, nasty, disgusting

Don't do it...Don't book this hotel. This is the WORST Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. The room was NOTHING like the picture on the website. I am a frequent traveler and often stay at HIExpress but this hotel is nasty, dirty, no bathtub, no microwave, no minifridge...the coffee maker is sitting on the bedside table and I hope you don't like sugar or cream for your coffee because they don't leave you any in your room. The toilet does not flush properly unless you hold the handle down for the entire flush. The carpet is filthy in the halls and the air conditioner blows HOT air in the hallways. I would NEVER recommend this establishment to ANYONE. DON'T STAY HERE...IT IS NOT your usual HOLIDAY INN and Holiday Inn should be ashamed to put their name on this place. This place should be classed as a no-tell motel. Again...Don't Do It...Don't book this hotel unless you want to be disappointed or you don't mind staying in a nasty, nasty room. Trust me...if I could have, I would have changed hotels!!! This hotel does NOT deserve even 1 star.

TRY NEXT DOOR NEXT TIME!

I have been a loyal Holiday Inn Express for a while now and this hotel has changed my mind. I used to stay here almost every other week since I got a special rate for staying with them for so long. This past weekend, they kicked me out of my room, so they could charge and make $200 of of another guest. So I packed my bags and went down to the Comfort Inn just down the street. Not only was the Comfort Inn a little cheaper than this hotel, but it was much much better than this Holiday Inn Express. DO NOT STAY HERE! TRY THE COMFORT INN DOWN THE STREET INSTEAD!

Never Again!

When I reserved the room I requested non-smoking, my husband checked us in and went to our room it was smoking. Not a big deal he went to the front desk to get a non-smoking room He went to the room first before we got out of the car again and to his surprise when he opened the door their was a lady sitting on in the chair and a man sleeping on the bed. He was so embarassed and had to apologize for the hotels mistakes. After a day at the funeral home we return to the hotel for a swim (the kids so excited to go swimming) we get to the pool at 8:15pm they have closed the pool even though it was to be open. Room was clean but bad customer service.

Wonderful Wedding

I had my wedding and reception at this Holiday Inn. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone having a small wedding or event. Everyone was raving about the food, the hand carved beef, and the seafood newburg were to die for. The prices were very reasonable and I didn't have to stress about anything Thanks to Ro W. My Husband and I did get to stay the night as part of the wedding package and I have to say I was not impressed with the rooms, they did seem dark and dingy. But over all it is a great place for small events.

Rude, unprofessional management

Not in the greatest neightborhood, hotel smelled unclean, requested beds were not available, management (Dave) and front desk staff (Missy) were rude and unprofessional. Several requests to speak to the next level of management were refused. Called Holiday Inn Express corporate, and still have not received a reply after several weeks. STAY AWAY

worst experience ever

Worst customer service I have ever experieced. My friend and I were traveling from Wisconsin so that she can make arrangements to move her family to Fort Drum where her husband will be when he returns from Irag. We had a good experience at an ohio Holiday Express in Ohio. There was an issue with us getting in and my friend asked for a manager--she is a sweet person. The asst manager that was at home told her to stop making a scene. She was shocked and asked the clerk if she was making a scene and the clerk said Kind of. The manager told her to vacate or he would call the police. We looked nice, except for a little travel weary and my friend cried as we drove looking for a new hotel. We ended up staying at a Hampton Inn with no problems and wonderful service. We have contacted corporate and are waiting for a reply.
