Holiday Inn Lake George, Lake George

Just finished our vacation in Lake George and very happy we chose Holiday Inn. Surroundings great, outdoor movies at night around outdoor pool, very family oriented. We loved it, our kids loved it. Right down the street from downtown Lake George and short drive to Six Flags. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! We loved it.

THIS HOTEL WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR OUR FAMILY. ROOMS WERE CLEAN, BEDS WERE THE MOST COMFORTABLE I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON. LOCATION WAS WITHIN A CLOSE WALK TO OLD LAKE GEORGE. EASY IN AND EASY OUT. AFTER SEEING SOME OF THE OTHER PROPERTIES IN THE AREA THIS LOOKED TO BE THE BEST OF THE BUNCH. CANT SAY ENOUGH!!!!

The hotel was awesome, there is something there for adults and children. It was very clean and the staff was helpful. It is also close to all kinds of different activities so you don't have to sit in traffic when you go anywhere. We will definitely stay there again.

This was my family's first time to Lake George. So I took a chance at the Holiday Inn. The staff let us in our room early, also let us have a late checkout. This worked out great since we only reserved the room for one night. The food was great at TJ's. The hotel really was the best place to take a family, with so many things to do between shuffle board, basket ball, the indoor pool & outdoor, the hot tub, the fire pit at night. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We loved it and can't wait to go back. Westfield Mass.

We liked everything about this RESORT! Yes, we are going back again this year for the 6th year in a row! We would not ever think of staying anywhere else! We hear that they have completed some new projects since last year and look forward to seeing the new building around the indoor pool. Our favorite spot is the outdoor whirlpool. They have alot of activities for children and children stay and eat free up to a certain age. This HOLIDAY INN RESORT will have yoga, water aerobics, art classes for children, and many other amenities this summer. Great place for families! Great staff, clean, friendly, and comfortable. HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

My family and I have been to the Holiday Inn at Lake George last year-2007 and this year 2008 for our summer vacation. The location is great! The rooms with the balconies have great views and are very spacious. The place is very kid friendly and have a a-lot of activities for them. The buffets are great, the food is good and the prices for the food in the restaurant are a great value and I love it that the kids eat free while staying at the hotel. The room service prices/food have a-lot to be desired. It is cheaper and the food is better at the restaurant. I was not happy with the breakfast room service. The breakfast buffet is wonderful! Very affordable and great food! The kids love making their own waffles (with supervision of course). Only real need for improvement other than room service... Daily Room Cleaning needs to improve. Our rooms would not be done until around 4:00 in the afternoon. Sometimes, they would forget or leave less towels. I would have to chase down the person cleaning our room to get more towels. The bed sheets were not changed each day, unless requested. For the money we spent on the room, I would think the sheets being changed would be a given. But not sure if all hotels are that way.... The staff at the hotel are always very helpful and polite. I requested a certain room and they came through for me. The staff at the front desk are great and very very helpful. The Hotel is clean and the location is great.

We just got back home. Our visit to The Holiday Inn at lake George was very nice. We stayed in a spacious suite. The room was nice and clean. We did not really like the balcony. It was too open on one side and the people in the suite next to us were too loud and the kids were flinging their towels into our balcony. If it was closed on that one wall it would have been much more enjoyable. Other than the balcony our stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly. If we go back to Lake George we would stay at The Holiday Inn again. We would not get a room with a balcony though.

We are planning our 5th trip to Lake George and of course we are staying at the Holiday Inn again! We have been staying with the Holiday Inn since the summer of 2004 and for us it has been a most enjoyable vacation and relaxing experience. The Holiday Inn has everything that you will need to enjoy time away from home and still feel at home. The indoor and outdoor pools offer the opportunity for your family to enjoy time spent relaxing no matter what kind of weather. Eating at the restaurant offers a wonderful experience and there is no driving to worry about, so you can spend time having a quality dinner experience with your family and children. This is just the perfect place to spend your time away from home. The staff is very friendly and prompt to meet your every need. The rooms are comfortable and they offer a good selection of accommodations. Try one of their suites for a most luxurious experience. Restuarant and lounge, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, recreation, comfortable rooms, along with that friendly and relaxing atmosphere and staff that is so willing to take are of all of your needs. What more could you ask for?

"Holiday Inn, Lake George, New York Our Home Away From Home" Our family has been visiting Lake George, New York for several years now. We always stay at the Holiday Inn, Lake George. Our experiences, year after year, have been just wonderful. The service is always prompt, efficient, warm, and very professional. It is our home away from home, when visiting Lake George. We can relax in our room or at the pool. The property and restaurant are just very inviting. After a busy day or a day spent at the pool, it is always relaxing to have dinner where you feel right at home, at the Holiday Inn, Lake George. The Holiday Inn, Lake George has a restaurant, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and many other fine amenities. The Holiday Inn also has suites for larger families. Families will enjoy all that the Holiday Inn has to offer. The rooms are very comfortable and the views are just breathtaking. You will just fall in love with your home away from home!

My 2nd stay here. The rooms were very clean, the beds and pillows are super.The hotel staff is very polite.Room service is quick ,and the food was perfect. Plenty of large towels . Overall a very comfortable stay, EXCEPT for the restaurant... I specifically have chosen this hotel because it has a restaurant and room service so I don't mind paying a bit more for my stay for these services. On my most recent stay Sept 15th , 2007, I asked for clean water glasses as they seemed a bit gacked out. The Male attendant grabbed them off the table , and literally threw them on the next table , one actually rolled to the edge but he caught it.Then grabbed 2 glasses from that table ,did not bother to check them either, whipped out the napkins from them ,poured our water, walked away, never said a word,but was overtly annoyed . To add to this fiasco the 2 new glasses had encrusted food on the glass also. Needless to say it was quite an uncomfortable feeling. We waited for a while for someone to take our order . More people were seated, and attended to. We sat for a while more , I quess being obviously ignored, because we asked for clean water glasses. Won't do that again. And probably won't stay here again either. We finally got up and left. Went down the road to Smokey Joes, food and service was great. Next time I'll stay at a less expensive place and just go out to eat. I must add the waitress we had the night before was excellent and very polite, but we also had clean glasses that night.
