Worth the stay. . .
The staff we encountered during our stay were very pleasant, friendly and comfortable, as was the atmosphere. The free breakfast was by far more than a continental fare, it was restaurant (home town diner) style.
The building itself is old, which lends it charm and personality. Certainly not the Fairmont - but you are in Taos, NM. The rooms are quaint, not sterile, but clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, etc. No in room coffee (:() . The plaza was within walking distance and everyone we encountered were really cordial.
Indian Dance Show 1 night (fun) on site. Candy shop, hairdresser, restaurant, bar, pool and hot tub - it's all there. Yet there is still plenty else in the nearby area: Pub, Casino, park.
I would definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced for the amenities, service, location and atmosphere.
