very rude in the front desk
By ,
A young front desk receptionist, Sarah W., was very rude. She is the worst receptionist we have ever met. Toilet water leaks from base of the toilet, very disgusting. Bad experience. We will not come back again.

Worse than a cheap Las Vegas motel
By ,
Very rude in the front desk. Very expensive for what they offer. I found a dirty sock in the drawer! Mostly they deal with airline-group people and they do not care about the rest. I will never stay there again.

Extremely poor management and services
By ,
I've been in many hilton family hotels but this is one of the worst. Elevator weren't functioning properly, bath robe wasn't there in executive room. I couldn't reach no front desk via room phone. (line was just busy for 30 minutes) Executive lounge had no attendants and breakfast quality were horrible. On top of that, they charged me twice more than what I reserved for via internet. I contested the problem tough and finally got the rate that I reserved over the internet. The hotel is currently rated as 4 star level but it should be down graded to 2 or 1 star level. I strongly NOT recommend this hotel.

Decent Hotel
By ,
Considering the extreme prices of rooms in Manhattan during December, this hotel was a good alternative. They had a group cancel so I found an even lower rate through Hilton's website. (Although they did try to charge me the higher rate, but the front desk fixed it after I explained.) The shuttle times did not fit my schedule, but it was an easy drive into the city. If you are willing to drive, search online for parking discounts. (I found a $10 for 10 hours weekend theater deal.) Yes, the hotel is on an exit ramp, but many roads are divided where you have to go past your destination & then loop back. Just study a map before you go - the access will make sense & takes very little extra time. The highlight for me was the pool, which even after being in the hot tub was still warm. The lowlight was the fact that only one elevator was working, but waits weren't too bad. One reviewer commented that their room was small. The double I had was normal for most Hiltons, & large compared to the closet-like rooms found downtown.

Best Kept Secret in NY/NJ
By ,
This hotel is incredible..The service fantastic, the staff amazing, especially the Banquet Department. Our function was run so professionally, I couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is clean, newly renovated, and just a treasure we happened to stumble upon. Rates are more than reasonable...5 star reastaurant quality food....amazing shuttle service that takes you right to NYC with no hassels what so ever....Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!!

use the toilet in exercise room
By ,
Bad experience. We booked four nights. Upon arrival clerk took credit card, checked us in then told us that our room had no water but we could us the the exercise room to toilet and shower. Air conditioning didnot work 2 out of 4 days of our stay eventhough it was 95-100 degrees. Management offered no compensation not even a free cup of coffee. This type of apathy in major hotel chain is troubling.

Great hotel
By ,
Service was excellent. There was a complimentary hot breakfast every morning. The rooms were great. The only drawback is the location. You can only access it going eastbound on Route 4. Sometimes, we had to drive an extra mile to make a U-turn. I have stayed here before and always enjoy it.

should be motel 6 not hilton
By ,
don't book ur function here. JOSE,the banquet mgr, is very rude and of no help. he'll cut ur function an hour less. if u try to asked him why, he'll charged u $15.00/per head more. if ur willing to wait 1-2 hrs. for shuttle service for p/u or drop off, then go ahead and use it. otherwise, not worth the aggravations. don't ever forget anything in the room! tried calling the front desk to let them know am coming back 'coz i forgot one of my manila envelope, they transferred me all over the place and very disorganized. they cheated us with their amenities. we were promised to have karaoke lounge, use of pool and fitness cntr, but renovation is still not done. stay somewhere else....not worth of ur time and money.

Confused
By ,
The Location was a little confusing because it is off an exit ramp. The Staff was nice but the rooms were kind of small.
