Days Inn Campton, Campton

the staff was very helpful. the room was clean. i probably wouldn't stay in this hotel again, but not because i didnt like the hotel, i just really have no need to come back to the area

My family and I truly enjoyed our experience at Days Inn Campton. It was clean and neat and the staff were kind and professional. We felt safe and knew that if we needed anything, they were there for us. The indoor pool was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the breakfast. It was convenient staying in a nice place that was so close to all of the tourist attractions we went to.

I recently hosted (for the first time) a Swedish Weaving Mini-Convention at the Days Inn Campton. From the first time I went in to start making arrangements the management staff could not have been better! Throughout the 6 months of planning I received timely email communication and whenever I would stop by unannounced they always made me feel like no request was unattainable. The main focus of our event was to be able to do our craft from morning to night and the unrestricted use of the large group room was invaluable to us. The lighting in the room, which is essential for the craft we do, was great and the ability to leave our crafts overnight in a locked room was an added request they were able to accommondate for us. We all liked having a block of rooms together so we could socialize at night and the staff were very accommendating allowing me to place welcome gifts in the rooms prior to my guests arrival. The rooms were clean and basically met our needs.We did find the pool to be cold, and the breakfast was just basic. The 28 people who attended have reccomended that we return again next year and I said no problem because I know working with this management staff will be a breeze.

We wish we'd read these reviews before booking!! There is a smoke/mildew smell trhoughout the building, the "heated" pool was freezing, the hot tub filthy and the sauna benches were about to fall in. We had no hot water when we went to shower the first morning, YIKES!! The continental breakfast is the worst we have ever seen, I wasn't looking for gourmet food, but the coffee should at least be drinkable.

I recently booked 25 rooms for my camp group and was very happy with the accomodations. The rooms were clean and suited our needs. Our rooms were all booked together in one block. The manager was there to greet us upon arrival, even though it was nearly 11:00 PM. The management team was attentive to all our needs and ensured that both our campers and staff had a great time. The manager contacted me several times throughout our stay to ensure that everything was just right. I was very happy with my experience and look forward to returning with future groups.

Perfect location between lakes and mountains, so you can get to both without the high hotel rates closer to each. Decent pool and sauna and nice place to play pool and have a drink (the karaoke isn't worth it, but is an easy way to see some local wildlife).

There is nothing inviting or comforting about this place!The price was way too high for what you get. I was told the room was 189.00 due to NASCAR weekend when the card inside the room door said the room should not exceed 129.00 per night. In other words, lets put it to all travelers because of NASCAR weekend. The grounds, parking lot, lobby and my room were filthy. Someone had vomited all over the parking lot and nothing was done about it. I think they were hoping the rain would take care of it. Very pleasant! The kicker came the next morning when the shower did not work at all. The desk clerk gave me 10% off the 189.00 because of the shower. Big deal! Ten percent was a joke. One of the biggest things in my mind, that a hotel should have, is a place to clean and take a shower, but the desk clerk didn't seem to think a non working shower was a big deal. Also, there was a horrible band playing in the bar but you could here the music from my room until 12:00. There is obviously no sound proofing in the rooms so yhou have no choice but to stay up late and listen to all the noise. I will never stay there again. I would have been better off in a tent. It would have been cleaner and cheaper to stay outside.

I paid $53 to stay there during my visit to Plymouth State University, they had new linen. All the furniture showed sign of use, but they are all clean. I also checked out the sports bar / pool hall, there were only a few people but nice and clean as well. The next morning breakfast was ok, just the basic continental breakfast I had before. The pool is not warm but not cold either.

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights and we couldn't wait to leave. The only nice things about the place is the location and getting to leave. Our room smelled like mold and was so nasty we had to sleep with the window open. We went to get into the hot tub and there was a cigg butt in the water NASTY!!! The pool was so cloudy we couldn't see the bottom of it. The sauna room smelled like a toilet. We lost power one night and there were no safty lights in the room. Breakfast was sad they left a bug zapper on the counter at night to catch critters... Please do not stay here...just say no!

Dirty and falling apart. Bed linens were worn and smelly. Tub was dirty, cobwebs and mold on ceiling. Rooms need some repair. Front desk asked for a $2 dollar maids gratuity @ check out and I almost laughed.
