Fairfield Inn by Marriott Concord, Concord

Just what we needed after a long winter on being stuck inside. We "escaped" to NH for a week of skiing and stayed at the Fairfield located right off the highway, the staff was so friendly, breakfast was amazing, omlets, hashbrowns, waffles and all included. Our room was huge and with the extra pillows everyone slept like a rock. The pool was relaxing and we heard that the BBQ is open on the back patio - You can bet our group will be back in the spring. Rate was the best in town and included ski tickets,

Room was very clean. Front desk staff were helpful. Some noise from the highway but not a problem when I turned on the heater. Why do hotels all use those noisey heaters! Very nice, free, breakfast.

No complaints-we received excellent care and attention to detail was excellent! We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you, Mary & Family

I have stayed at this hotel twice before. Once in 2005 and now just recently in August 2007. The first time I went here was on a stop to Canada. It was early spring and was actually quite warm. The hotel is right of the Interstate and is on a small private road. I looked and was shocked to see a bunch of Construction workers outside the hotel. I of course just figured they were staying there for a night. So I went into the hotel and immediatly I heard banging drill and loud workers. I had made this reservation a month prior and nobody told me anything about all this. I asked what is going on and the guy at the desk said don't worry about it they will be gone in an hour. So I got my room and it was pretty big. In my room was a tv a king bed and a large chair. looked nice but as sonn as I got into the room the smell of new carpet and paint fumes was overwelming. I went and got some soda from the vending machine and came back to my room, when I entered the bathroom door was closed and I heard grunting coming from inside it. I was worried and ran to the front desk and told them someone was in my bathroom. Turns out it was a worker using my bathroom!! After all this I should have just left but I figured I could live with it for a night. On my second trip to this Farfield Inn was a little unexpected. I had car troubles on my way to Burlington. So I said hey I can stay at the Fairfield inn. By now they surely had to be done with construction and my stay would probably be nice right, wrong!! Although there was no contsruction the staff was quite rude. I asked if they could come and change a burnt out light in my room and they said we don't know how too our manager will get it tomorrow. I have given up on this hotel.

Bed sheets were not changed from previous customer . Did not stay the night , relocated to a cleaner hotel in Concord. People need to be aware of this and check the beds first!

This is an above average hotel for the price. It is located next to the highway for easy access, but not much of a view. Staff is friendly and helpful.
