Description

Originally opened as the Sundance in 1980, it later gained the luck of the Irish and became Fitzgerald's. There can not be a luckier place to stay in than Glitter Gulch, from the leprechaun on the roof to the six authentic blarney stones on display, the place exudes good fortune. Hotel guests will enjoy the 42,000 square foot casino, three restaurants and three bars. The comfortable rooms offer a quiet respite from the gambling excitement. Prices fluctuate widely depending upon visitor volume, but this is certainly 'the' place to be in Las Vegas on St. Patrick's Day.

RIP OFF'S
By ,
went to las vegas in may of 2005. we stayed at fitzgeralds, the service was slow. while staying their on one of the close to the top floors, i had purchased 5 tee shirts and paid at least 20.00 each these were sourvinours for my kids. when arriving home i noticed that the shirts were gone out of my bag. this was a carry on bag that i didnt check in at the airport. the maid had taken my tee shirts. i have filed a complaint to the security dept, and emailed at least 20 times and i havent heard one single response. i am going to las vegas again next month and you can count on me not staying at fitzgearlds. the least they could do was acknowledge my email or phone calls. i want my money back for my items that were taken.

NEVER AGAIN
{THE DATE WE STAYED WAS MARCH 20- 24,2006.} We were to be in Vegas at 6:30p.m. , but due to our plane's being delayed it would be around 4:00a.m.I called Fitzgeralds to tell them . Even thour our rooms were already payed for. Long story short. We got to Fitzgeralds around 1:00a.m. Only to find out thay had gave our rooms away to someone els, along with the other couple that was with us to. All thay could say is that we weren't to be there untill around 7:00a.m. Well anyway thay finley said that thay were going to up grade us to a king bed with a zozy. I told them that we were to have a king bed anyway & no smokeing. The bed mattress was poking me in the back from the springs & one side of the box springs kept falling through the fame . The other couple got a double bed not the king. When thay called the front desk to tell them ,Fitzgeralds tryed to tell them that thay didn't ake for a king bed and that it does't mean that you would get one even if you as for on, but thay sure charge for one. So thay had to take the conformation print-out to the desk and show it to them befor thay gave them the king bed after all. Our T.V. never worked and our door to our room wouldn't lockshout ,we had to push or pull hard to make sure. For the money we payed we could have had a better place to say then here !!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! BUT THE MOLLY BUFFAY WAS GOOD TO EAT AT THE ZINN'S

Great Location and Room
By ,
It was a great cheap place to stay, everyone was kind and friendly and the rooms were clean and relaxing..Can't wait to stay there again. It was close to all the other things going on in the downtown area...Very helpful and told everyone to stay there if going to Las Vegas.. It was the first time that my sister and I were able to come to visit and it was great all the way .Donna Townsend and Patsy Slone

Great Vallet!!
By ,
I liked the Valet they found humor in our choice of music and I think they wound up being fans. The pool was great! The room was ok, we had trouble with clogged bath tub, we got someone to come and fix it. The job was never completed and that was a problem. They started to fix it but never finished it.

Would never go back again!
By ,
The room was filthy, bathroom atrocious, urine on the toilet, basin gurgled everytime the upstairs was used. Window broken, carpet filthy. Food at the buffet was terrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone even though the rates are good.

What Happened, Fitz?
By ,
Stayed w/ large group, all on same floor, July 9-July 12, 2007. Rooms were dingy, carpet was filthy, linens were ripped (had to ask TWICE for new pillows, our pillows had old blood stains on them!) the toilet, IF it flushed would not stop running. 4 men sent to "fix it",,,the only person that could make it stop running or flush was my sister!! Elevator fell with us from 3rd floor down to 1st floor, after being stuck for several mins after leaving the 6th floor. A man with us shoved his shoulders against doors, used something to pry them with and told us to jump. Elevator was NEVER taken out of service. People are rude, or perhaps have no control of a sinking hotel w/ bad mgmt and maybe they simply don't care anymore. Rethink this choice. Its not worth it. Its not the old Fitz! We will never stay again!
