Intourist-Stavropol, Mesquite

We arrived on a Thursday and the rate with tax was $27.50. The room we reserved was a non-smoking room with either a king bed or two queen beds (we could not specify on our online reservation), but on arrival, we received our requested two queens. We were also placed on the side of the buiding opposite Interstate 15, which may avoid some noise problems to light sleepers whose rooms face the freeway. The room was in Building 5, on the second floor, and was clean, as was the bath. No, it's not a hotel but it's a very nice value for a nice sized motel room. Where else can you stay for that price? We tried the breakfast buffet in the mezzanine area above the casino for $5.99. There were an adequate amount of items and omelletes were made to order. Only complaint was that the bacon was beyond crisp, almost burnt. Overall, a nice stopover on our visits to Zion and Bryce Canyon.

Every year I bring 40+ golfers here for 4 days of golf. The first 2 years they put us in the same building. Even though I make all my reservations a year in advance they can't seem to get us in the same building they couldn't even put myself and my coordinator in adjoining rooms. Most of us go elsewhere to eat and this year we are staying at the Eureke which is much smaller but the rooms are cleaner and larger. You would think with all the golfers that come to play these people would cater to them but they don't. To be fair to the people that took care of my golf they did the best that they could but the hotel management doesn't care. With all the buildings they have they should make one all golf. Ever since Cy Redd sold out this place has gone down hill

The resort was fun for the whole family with go karts,mini golf,hot tubs,pools,and a water slide.Plus the casino for when the kids went to bed. The suites were large, with a seperate room for the parents. and a kitchenette to make a midnight snack. As far as value. We spent 3 nights there, and it seemed free in comparison to the nights in LA,San Deigo, and Vegas encountered earlier in our trip. Also a great place to put up your feet, and meet some "real" people.

I don't care how cheap the rates are - I would much rather drive to Vegas or St. George tired than stop at the Oasis. It is definitely a trash dump and is definitely not a "hotel," but a motel. The girls at registration just chatted with each other the whole time my friend and I were checking in and made several inappropriate comments towards him. After getting to our room, we noticed the curtains were drawn, lights on, and a do not disturb sign on the door. My friend thought it was just accidental and opened the door. Our keys worked and someone else was definitely using the room, though thankfully they weren't there! We switched rooms without any apology or surprise on the part of the front desk. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable; bed sheets had hair all throughout (not mine!); wish I had a plastic bag to sleep in and gloves to touch things with in there. Will never go back!

Years ago when this hotel was the Peppermill hotel we stayed there often. It was wonderful then. Now it's horrible! The beds were the worst I've ever slept in. Our toilet got stopped up with just a small amount of t.p. in it and the buffet needs a lot of work. Now on to the buffet which is my biggest gripe. We have 3 small kids and I noticed that there were a lot of families with small kids there. But the buffet offered nothing for kids to eat! my 2 yr old is not going to eat Prime Rib! They need to have just a few items like chicken nuggest, pizza, mac and cheese or something for the little ones. We paid $8 for each of my kids to eat mashed potatoes and jello! We were also stuck in a room so far away from the pool area that we didn't even bother going because we'd have to drive there with all the kids and towels and things. Overall it was a horrible night and we'll never go back.

Nice pool area for the kids. We also enjoyed the go kart racetrack. The rooms were large and comfortable. The 24 hour restaurant was a little pricier than I expected, but the food was good.

When we arrived they mixed up our rooms, I was supposed to have two handicapped I had none, I was supposed to have smoking rooms I had none it took them 2 hours to get the rooms we ordered after having reservations for 1 1/2 months. The casino was fun for the adult but I had 4 kids and not one swimming pool that was open was available to children all of them were adult only. We paid 99.99 a night for 4 rooms for 4 nights and by the time we left we had been asked about maid service the last day we were there while trying to check out. We will never stay there again.

Maybe we are a bit more spoiled with what we are use to, but this place was crawling with white trash and the whole place felt like a seedy motel trying too hard to be like a hotel. Staff was not helpful and seemed to be on breaks alot. Golf courses are very sweet, but way too over priced. I can pay these prices in California on the beach and be catered to like the rich and famous, not with with the rude attitudes you get from the guys in the pro shops here. So not worth the trip from So Cal.

i like the price, the employees, the convenience, and the overall fun we have when we stay there.
