Cozy in the Woods of Incline Village
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/08
I only met two people from the staff and both were friendly and courteous. I booked two nights thru Expedia. I was unable to stay the second night due to unforseen committments, and a potential snow dumping storm the second night that might strand me in Incline Village. I did not want to miss my flight out of Reno the next day. I aksed that they inform Expedia a refund was acceptable. They approved the refund without any discussion or debate. This is a good alternative to the $200.00 and up rates elsewhere. If your needs are for a clean basic room, this is the place. I heard no outside noise while I was there. I will return.

Service was terrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/15/08
I stayed at Incline Village last weekend and the staff was rude, unaccomodating, and downright hostile. Our rooms were filthy and the staff blamed us! They even had the audacity to insult my children. I will never stay in this hotel again.

staying in paradise
By DennisW, 8/3/07
Nestled in the trees, about two blocks from the Hyatt, this little motel is a good value, but far from luxurious. Free Wi-Fi has a good signal but the baud rate varied wildly. In late July, the windows open, non air conditioned rooms were comfortable from a temp standpoint, although if you are a light sleeper, the road noise does occasionally come through. A very minimalist free breakfast. If you just want a place to crash this is it. Easy access. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water shower. Some rooms are drive up-to What more could you want?

Good basic hotel in Incline
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/1/07
For a last minute reservation, this hotel was fine. It was not luxurious, but basic. Nothing fancy. We stayed in a "premium" room, we had a refrigerator, lots of counter space in the bathroom. The floor in the bathroom was slate tile, probably nice in the summer, but FREEZING cold in the winter. The shower curtain was strangely short, the heater was noisy and the beds hard. But after a day of skiing not much mattered. They did have a free continental breakfast that was very sub-par, wouldn't depend on this for breakfast. They also had a simple indoor pool, no lighting in the pool itself, and not much lighting in the area, but it was heated to be comfortable. Adjacent was a hot tub, it was nice, but not very hot. A good basic hotel for crashing after a day of skiing. We had our kids with us and they were fine with the place too.

not too bad
By Rob, 8/1/06
My room had vaulted ceilings and two windows. The location was good. I got there at noon or so and had to wander around Incline Village in July wearing a suit and toting luggage all because check-in was not until 3pm. That was UNPLEASANT.

A nice set-up
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/12/05
The two bed room was nice. There was a dividing wall between the two beds for a little privacy.
