Holiday Inn SunSpree Resorts, West Yellowstone

The pool did not work and some, not all of the staff (front desk) had poor customer service. The pool did not work and we stayed there for the kids to swim. We tried to leave early and they said we would still be charged. Had to talk to a manager and we got out and stayed at the Days Inn. The Days Inn was much better and cheaper.

My husband and I love the service , quality and fun we've had . Unfortunately, we have never been able to get a reservation for a room , as your awesome establishment is always booked when we try. Finally ,this summer we will be staying there. We are sooo excited. We have been very impressed with the dining and lounge , that we anticipate a wonderful stay.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant service needed some help but we stayed there in late August and they must have had some staffing problems in the restaurant. We also won about $200 on the poker machines in the bar.

I was in West for a conference and stayed at the Holiday Inn. I liked everything about it. Rooms are huge with great amenities. Very clean. Decor is wonderful and I loved the local flair. Location is within walking distance to lots of fun little shops, restaurants and even an IMAX theatre. Staff friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here anytime I have the opportunity to visit this wonderful "gateway to Yellowstone" town.

The ladies that worked the front desk were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. The hotel was IDEAL for a vacation at Yellowstone Natl Park: (1) a couple blocks from the west entrance to the park, (2) on-site laundry, (3) large, clean, and comfortable rooms. The town is small so everything is within walking distance of the Holiday Inn (including breakfast at Running Bear Pancake House). This Holiday Inn will be my first choice for Yellowstone hotels when I return. I have no comment about the cocktail lounge or restaurant. I didn't use either one. The ONLY drawback: there was a coffee thermos conveniently placed on a table in the hotel lobby - and it was always empty; it made a nice paperweight.

Some of the staff is VERY unfriendly,the bartending leaves alot to be desired,hope your not in a hurry for anything there because you will need to find the bartender. Watch out for (K) at the front desk,if you ask for anything that might require some work (as in look at the computer) be ready to be embarassed if anyone is standing by you.. on how you will be treated.I read some of the reviews that said the staff was tough, I thought what the heck,cant be that bad..well yes it is.Should of known what I was in for when the person on duty at the desk was in the lobby getting a back massage when I walked in the Hotel. But hey the restuarant is very good!
