The Magnuson has really good rates compared to the other places in Bozeman that I checked out. The carpets are a little out dated but the rooms are nice, as is the pool and hot tub. The staff was by far the best part. Joe the manager was very helpful and Sara(?) who worked the front desk that night provided us with every nit picky thing we asked her for. We will be staying there every time we visit Bozeman.

Never going back

I usually stay at this hotel every time I visit Bozeman but after my last stay I will never go back. The power went out in the whole hotel and stayed out for 3 hours causing me to be late for work and a huge inconvenience. As i was checking out the next morning, I brought it up with the woman at the front desk. She immediately became hostile and rude, blaming it on the city and taking no responsibility for the incident. I expected to have some kind of compensation since the services I was paying for were not provided for me, instead I got a woman at the front desk with a bad attitude. This hotel is not cheap, has out of date rooms, and horrible customer service

Back every year

We bring a group of high school and junior high kids to Bozeman every year for an Awana event and skiing. We are treated very well and appreciated and recommend highly this motel. We are going to be staying again in March of 2010.

Will never stay there again

I stayed for one night and the room was cold and the toilet ran all night. I complained to the front desk the next morning when I checked out and he said I would have to talk to the manager. I called the manager and told him how unhappy I was with my stay. He said he would call me back but I ended up calling him back 2 days later. He still did not have a resolution and was basically calling me a liar. I was very upset because my mother is in the hospital and this is just one more thing to have to stress about. The manager, Mike, hung up on me. I will never ever stay here again and I will put a comment on my facebook page alerting all my friends to never stay at this establishment.
