Great visit!

I just came back from staying 6 nights at this hotel. My husband was attending training and I went along taking a week of valuable vacation time. I'm so glad I took the time off and went along. Our room looked just like the picture. The room may have been a little dated but everything was very clean. The staff was wonderful, friendly and the most helpful hotel staff I have ever been around. Food was great. Thanks Joy for all the wonderful TLC. Felt like I truly was on vacation. The hotel is under new management and is starting to make upgrades, we are thinking of returning in the summer (5 hour trip one way) and take the short hop across the bridge and enjoy the sights at St.Charles. I meet the manager and most of the staff and enjoyed the Tuesday night reception. As a holiday inn priority club member I have stayed at several of their hotels but far none have I felt like it was home away from home and that is just what this staff does for this hotel. I used the handy laundry, exercise room but found the pool a little too cool for my liking. Snow removal needed to be improved in the parking lot but other than that an excellent place to stay. The Nastiest Hotel i've ever stayed in.

It was dirty, stains in carpet. I didnt want to touch anything. It was terrible. It was on our Priority Club Rewards, so we thought it would be great! Upon check in, I told the front desk clerk that I was looking for rates under $90.00 and that we were military. He said "Okay! How about $45.10?" I should had know right then and there. It wasnt even worth that much. I have a toddler, he stayed on the bed the entire time. I would even let him touch the headboard.
