I probably wont stay again

My company set me up at this place and when I checked in the front desk misplaced the credit card preauthorization that we had already faxed over. The shower curtains are both made of fabric so after taking a shower expect to find a puddle on the floor. There was not bath mat either to prevent slips! Some of the towels had stains on them also. Oh, and the toilets don't flush well. It takes about a minute for anything to go down. I'm all about wather pressure and power in a toilet. I could tell they had been washed but they did not get all the stains out. There is a metal object sticking out of the wall that has pointed screws jutting out of it next to the elevators. If anyone accidentally rubs against it, expect a flesh wound. I believe this guy may be maintenace. He's a short stocky guy in his late twenties or early thirties. Well this guy never smiles. Even worse he looks pissed off all the time. After I picked up food and was headed up in the elevator he stuck his arm through the door to open it and I hit the door open button. I asked him what floor and he stepped in front of me and hit the button. He then walked off the elevator on another floor (thank god). He made me feel very uncomfortable. The next night I forgot my room key and went up to the front desk where he was sitting and chatting with the front desk receptionist. I said hello and he again just sat there, gave me an ugly look and then the front desk guy came around from the back room where they were chatting and assisted me. They have a sign that reads breakfast from 6:30 to 11am outside. I walked around the main floor and never saw anyone eating or an area that looked like a meal area. I never asked the front desk because that maintenace guy with the look of a serial killer has a habit of hanging out down there. I have one more night to go! Overall it hasn't been absolutely horrible, but they sure do have a lot to work on. Oh, and one last tip! Try and ask for a room that is away from the ice machine. That thing makes so much noise at night. They should really discount the rooms next to it or the elevators because of all the interuptions at night. Oh, and he's an FYI. Most hotels leave a complimentary copy of a newspaper on your door step. This one leaves one, but they have a stamp on it that reads... by accepting this paper you agree to be charged an extra amount towards your stay here. The stamp on it every day has been over one of the written articles and blends in. I got tricked the first day. On a good note. Housekeeping never took anything from my room after staying there for a week. So, service is needs improvement, cleanliness needs improvement, location is good but you need to get to know the streets around the hotel because they can be a maze and value... well I didn't pay for it so I'm not sure but I wouldn't pay more then 100.00 a night.
