Holiday Inn Htl And Suite, St Cloud

Place was full of screaming kids. Very noisy from morning til night. Would not recommend going here to just relax for adults. Hallways always full of people. Beds are also very uncomfortable and small. For the price of rooms a microwave in the room would be nice. Very doubtful if we will ever stay here again.

This is a very popular meeting place for families. The price was right and there were many activies to keep the kids happy. My biggest complaint is that to many older kids were playing in the toddler wadding pool, and the guests with pool side rooms were enjoying the area outside their rooms, it was hard to walk inside the pool area. There were enjoying their familes and taking advantage of the fun stuff going on. Our room was great, we had a suite, it was clean and huge, and the staff was friendlyand helpful. We will be going back for the Christmas holidays when my son and his family are staying for Her side's holiday. We were also there for a wedding in a smaller room - poolside, and that room was also great.

Your hotel is in need of professional staff and maintenance people. The pool area was SO cold we had to have our sweatshirts and coats on! Of course that wouldn't keep the little ones out of the pool, so now they are all sick with colds. We complained a number of times and nothing was done. We should have just packed up and left! You also placed us in a room between the Holidome and the entrance to the hallway.Room 146. There was a private party in the Holidome that went on until almost 2AM and EVERYONE coming and going to that had to walk past our room to get in and out of there. We should have been asked at check-in if we were a part of the party. The doors slammed loudly and the walls shook each and everytime someone came or went. Have you never heard of door closers? We will never stay at your hotel again. Very, very disappointed!! Jean L. Our date of visit was 10-15-09.

Booked only one night to stay with my family for Sisters Wedding but I would NEVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. This hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and a professional staff . They told me one price on the phone and then when I arrived told me a different price. It was only $20 more so I just paid it. There was no heat in our room and staff were not forthcoming in helping when I complained. They dismissed my complaint as though it was a regular part of their day. No room change, No Money back, No apology! I could never go back to this Holiday Inn. IF had to go back to St. Cloud again I would rather sleep in the car, It would probably be warmer.

I have stayed here many times and will keep going back. My son loves the place. There is a lot of room for kids to play, including a Kid Zone area, basketball & volley ball courts, 3 different pools, 2 different hot tubs, video games, and more. On weekends there are simple activities that the kids can take part in. A great winter getaway!

I was here for a basketball tournament with many other people from my city. It was an amazing experience had by everyone! The staff was extremely friendly and everything was spotless. The noise level was surprisingly low considering all the people staying here. All my needs were accomadated! A++++!!

Never again will I stay here. It was 90 degrees the day I checked in at 1pm. I turned the air on high and it promptly blew softer than I do when blowing up a balloon. By the time I went back to my room at 10pm it was still over 80 degrees! I finally found my room after walking all over the place and not finding it and I had to ask the staff. My room was in a wing that did not have elevator access and it was inconvenient to say the least. I had brought my luggage that had wheels to avoid having to lift! Being arthritic it was not only the inconvenience, however the pain it caused me walking all over. Even the pizza delivery person wouldn't come up, I had to go to the main desk to pick it up! Better signage would have definately been a plus. I attempted to charge my cell phone, however in the morning I found that it had not charged at all. Apparently it was a not working outlet! A sign would have been nice. The water pressure was so poor that I could spit stronger than the shower! So, no shower for me. It is quite unfortunate, because the staff was very nice, the pool and hot tub were awesome, the catering for the event was great, and the main areas were clean and nice. However because of the other issues stated above, next year I will stay at the near empty motel across the street and walk over.

We had a large group of us go. The kids had a blast in the pools and volleyball courts. They even had an activity center that had directors who kids facepainting and crafts and arts....for free. The staff was great, made us feel like they wanted to help us out!

Every employee we encountered, whether behind the desk, behind the maid's cart, or behind the bar treated us like we were their only customer and gave to us what felt like special treatmnent. I later learned that we weren't special, they just treat everyone that way. The hotel is under some renovations as of August 2006, but with five pools, two volleyball courts, basketball court, bar, restaurant, free Internet computer, why would you ever even want to go home??

We stayed there in Jan 2006, in minnesota the this time of year the weather was terrible. but we did not need to leave the hotel. the kids had a great time with all the pools, volleyball courts, basketball courts, arcade games, activity center. it was perfect for the whole family!
