Would not stay again
The only things nice about the hotel was that the beds were comfortable and there is a Starbucks on site. Other than that the place is dead. The furniture and rug in the room was stained. People we were with got sick from the food in the bar. There has got to be a better place to stay!

Not a 4-1/2 star hotel
By Sammyjo, 05/20/08
Bowling weekend-5/16/08 to 5/19/08 1-Room not ready at 3:00p.m. 2-Room not ready till around 5:30 that evening-We were to stay in room 406 stayed in room 404-They told us at the desk that the reason was they had to find a room for us due to the fact the toilet broke in 406-no one knew this prior to our arrival? One of the ladies in our party fell in the exercise room we called to tell the desk and that we needed a wheel chair to take her to the hospital-they sent wheel chair but sent no one for an accident report. Upon leaving I approached the desk about the accident report and the two girls knew nothing about it. A manager walking by was asked by clerk about it and she said oh yes but it took awhile to get the form. The front desk couldn't tell us of places to see or do. I have never been to a hotel that couldn't tell us place to go to. The rooms were not cleaned properly. Dust on the TV etc... No one picks up paper off the floor in hallways or rooms. Also since they are remodeling the workers disturbed some others on the third floor. On Monday morning. We are very disappointed we had a group of 25 ladies that stayed at this hotel just in our group alone. We will not come back.

Bowling Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/08
We liked the location, the bedrooms were great, room spaciousness was great. Lobby Staff and car service were there when needed. But we booked the suite room in between our king bedrooms for an additional fee. The bathroom associated with the suite room was not clean and when I approached the maid in the hallway she told me that the maid for my section had already finished. I had her give me the cleaner and rag and cleaned the bathroom myself. NO TIP was left. The floor of the suite itself was not vacuumed. No remote for TV not a big deal. The ottoman in the room was stained with who knows what. We did have a good time in Battle Creek. thank you.

Clean rooms and friendly staff
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/12/07
The pictures on this site don't do this facility justice. It's a very up scale establishment with clean rooms & fresh scents; staff was friendly and helpful with directions to places in town. There are two places to eat on site and Starbucks. They offered shuttle service to and from the airport in Kalamazoo. Also, too and from the mall. Thank you for your hospitality during our stay! *****

connected to Kellogg Arena
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/06
Clean, comfortable, CLOSE BY, everything under one roof including parking, great staff. We attended an event in Kellogg Arena. The entrance to the arena is literally 50 feet from the first floor restaurant/lounge. The parking garage is attached as well, another 50 feet. No crossing the street, no walking through a tube, no "people movers" etc. I was also able to buy discounted tickets to the indoor/outdoor water park across the street for my family.

I attended a Wedding reception there in one of the ballrooms. Oh my gosh! Loved how nice the staff was, and how the ballroom looked. This hotel is great!

Excellent Hotel! Will visit again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/14/05
This hotel is just wonderful. The staff members were really polite, always with a smile on their faces. The food was excellent beyond belief, and the rooms were some of the nicest and most comfortable that I've ever experienced. I definitly plan on staying here again!

Well worth it!
By Angela, 06/20/05
I'm really glad we chose to stay at this hotel. We were looking for one that would cut our trip to the MIS in half. The hotel and pool were clean, the staff members were all very nice, and from the 15th floor we had a pretty good view. The only disturbance that we had was about 5 a.m. We could hear a man, in a very deep (and loud), masculine voice say "Hey Bud, you goin' to the race?" Although we hadn't planned to get up for another hour, we could understand the anxiousness of this fellow NASCAR fan! =)
