BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

We had several disappointing experiences upon checking into the Ramada Plaza on 28th Street. At check-in there was a sign on the counter that the hot tub was out of order. We were never made aware of this when we made reservations for 2 nights, approx. 1-2 wks. before our stay. At that time we were offered "$20 off our next stay." There were some machines out of order, including some games, pop machines, and a change maker near the game room. The next morning when we went for our free breakfast, as it was stated on the website and in the phone book, there was a sign indicating that as of March 1st they no longer offered complimentary breakfast. This was another change that we were not made aware of when we made reservations. As we were making our early check out to go to another hotel that delivered what they advertised, we were not given any discount after voicing our complaints. When we asked about the $20 discount for our next stay, we were told to contact the manager and she would send it to us. The sales associate checking us out told us that she felt bad about the situation, but that corporate tells them not to imform the public that the hot tub is out of order. We will not be staying at another Ramada for obvious reasons and will tell our friends and family to BEWARE also.
