Our stay turned into a huge hassle...
By Alicia, 04/14/09
We stayed for one night for a relaxing night out, and it has turned into a huge frustration, all because we asked for a refridgerator. The 10 dollars we should have paid is at the moment pulling over 100 dollars from my account, and I've been running circles to get it corrected. What a disgusting disappointment. I will never give Sheraton my bank information again, for fear of needing to go through this again when I can't afford the errors. Not what I want to deal with right before moving across the country...

Very nice unless you bring kids
By travelling parent, 08/23/08
The rooms were clean, if a bit worn. Lovely lobby area and friendly front desk staff. Accessible parking, nice big rooms. BUT beware of booking this hotel if you have kids that like to swim. Two pools are five feet at deepest, and lifeguards are constantly telling children no jumping or diving allowed. Indoor pool is used by health club members, and classes take up pool every afternoon. Children are not made to feel welcome here, even if well-behaved and accompanied by parents. Barely cordial manager behind health club desk stared at a few well-behaved children all afternoon, (not my kids, mine were younger and not an issue) and rushed out of her office to yell at them at the slightest infraction, followed by a long, nasty stare to get her point across. I stayed there almost a week and felt distinctly unwelcome and uncomfortable using pool, as if committing a crime, although my children were well-behaved. Later heard a health club guest and manager laughing over "two devils" that the manager yelled, at. These were the poor boys that she happened to focus on that day. If you are travelling with kids that like to swim, you don't need the hassle. If you are booking groups for sports tournaments that include kids, I recommending lookng elsewhere.

Good for the price
By Shannon D, 08/21/07
It was very close to the T station and the shuttle to and from the stop in Quincy Adams was good. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was a king bed that was fairly comfortable and a nice couch. It was clean and what we expected. The pool inside is only open until 9:30 PM on weekends which seems too early to me and the hot tub was not working properly- not what I expect when I pay for working facilities. I would definately go back but I might pick a hotel closer to Boston if that's where we go again. It was a good deal for the money and much nicer than other hotels for $109/night that I've seen.

Almost Paradise
By tana, 08/14/07
This hotel offers a shuttle to take you to the T and back to the hotel. The shortest wait we had for this shuttle was 20 min. We would always call when we got close, yet still the longest wait was 45 min. (even though the hotel was a mere 8 min. away). It takes at least 35 min. on the T to get to downtown Boston. This means that there was at least 2 hours in train/wait time a day. During our stay, my leg was cut open by a needle that was stuck into the mattress. The management had the housekeepers change the sheets. They said they would clean the room again - but never did. No apologetic compensation (not that I would have accepted it, but the offer would have been nice) nothing. To use the internet that is listed in the amenities is $11 a day.

Great Location
By Blessing, 05/26/05
This was a great hotel. The ambiance was wonderful, the decor was great, the room was beautiful and spacious. It is conveniently located across the street from a mall and nice restaurants. It is right off of the interstate which makes it easy. Another thing that I appreciated about this location was that it is not in the middle of the city of Boston, it is about 15 minutes away thus giving it a suburban feeling. My only regret is that I was only there for one night, if I find myself in the Boston area again, I would definitely try to stay at the Sheraton Braintree.

Not a first choice.
By Jennifer, 05/23/05
Greeted me as Starwood Preferred Guest which was nice but that was about it. The reservations were wrong and I wound up in an accessible room. I called front desk to be switched but the room type I had reserved was all booked. Wound up in a double. Toiletries were incomplete and some had been used. Curtains do not cover entire windows...sheers do not keep out sun.

Sheraton Braintree
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/09/04
Nice hotel, a little worn in spots. If you plan on taking the complimentary shuttle to the T, be aware that it takes two tokens inbound and one token plus an exit fare of one token outbound. So expect to pay double. Or drive to Wollaston station - no extra fees.
