This conference center and hotel comes with a Old Sliver Beach, a private beach suitable for swimming. While too new for traditional Cape character, it is a modern and well-run beach resort with sunny rooms, private balconies and ample space. Its Falmouth location puts you near the funky village of Woods Hole, the ferries to Martha's Vineyard, and far from the crowded Mid-Cape. It is a good choice for business conferences and for relaxing family vacations. Two onsite restaurants offer formal and casual dining.

In desperate need of renovations!
By Dr. Love, 06/13/09
My husband and I stayed only one night in this horribly overpriced, extremely outdated hotel in June 2009. Not romantic at all. Ocean front rooms are old with chipping paint, faded curtains and carpets. Photo of oceanfront room on their website must have been taken over 25 years ago. Nice service just really bad accommodations. Travel a bit further south on the cape for the Chatham Bars Inn. It will be well worth your trip and money. Avoid Seacrest until the much needed renovations are due to be completed by April 2010.

Great conference center!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/09
Attended a conference and found the conference rooms, audio-visuals, exhibitor area, lobby and food to be great! Staff was warm and very helpful. Heard it will soon be remodeled which will add greatly to this spectacular spot on the beach.

horrible bate's motel
By j c, 10/01/08
Went for a wedding in late september, enjoyed the wedding itself and that's all. Lights in bath, door lock and all but one window didn't work had to "deal with it ". The room unbearably smelled of mold & mildew, had to keep room door open when in it, the a/c was also useless. Hotel staff walked in on semi nude wife without a phone call just a knock and enter, no time for a response, I was in the shower at the time. When I tried to speak to manager about the employee that walked in, he was "no longer on duty" to apologize, even though it was only a half hour later. Also manager did not apologize but said we requested a smoking room so that's what happens. Many other wedding guests had similar experiences, we will NEVER stay again or EVER speak highly of this hotel. Sleep on the beach if you have too you'll be better off.

Worst service ever!!
By G, 09/30/08
The staff at the Sea Crest Resort, and I use the term resort lightly as it's more of a motel, is very rude. They were very rude to my family. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night - had we not had other people with us my family & I would have forfeited the night's rental and returned home - the service was that bad. After making us wait an hour & a half for our rooms the "concierge" had the audacity to yell at my daughter for taking one of the brochures that they have out of different attractions. Our fellow travelers had to ask for a different room as theres had an odor to it. Prior to receiving a new one the hotel suggested they leave the room for an hour so they could air it out -this after the hour & a half wait just to get into the room. The location is nice - how could it not be - you're right on the ocean. However there are plenty of places on the waterfront down the Cape to stay that are worth the $$. The Seacrest definitely is not. It is rundown & should be classified as a motel - not a resort. Our room was in desperate need of a makeover. We will never stay here again.

Never Again
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/08
As you drive up to the hotel it looks very nice but once inside, you are greeted by very unfriendly customer service, don't try to ask questions or they will snap at you. Then as you are trying to find your room you can't help but notice dirty carpeting and a musty smell, oh and don't bring a lot of luggage as you will have to haul them up the stair yourself as there is only one or two elevators in whole complex. If you plan on relaxing in the bar during the evening or have a party there the bartender and ancient waitress will only greet you with a snare. The whole resort needs a huge face lift that includes more levators and better customer service.

Never Again!!!!!
By lisa, 08/17/08
My husband and I attended a wedding at the resort and spent the weekend (2 night min. stay required). Guest of the wedding were required to book in advance because they block off a bunch of rooms. We thougt we would get an upgraded or a discount. So wrong. The rooms were an absolute dump, way over priced, and not even in the same area as the wedding party. The resort and staff are less than acceptable. Staff was rude and liked to use profanity in ears reach of the guests (including children). Carpet throughout the resort was stained and smelled. Looked like we had a giant blood stain on ours. Never let our bare feet touch the floor, even the shower. Food was OK but over priced. Beach was only nice thing but not $480/2 nights nice. $20 to park next door at public side (same beach) is much better deal and stay some place else. Staff did not cater to bride or groom and were rude to them also. Fire alarm went off in middle of reception and we had to stand out in a thunder storm. They tried to force the bride to stand outside in her gown. After heated arguements and many tears she was allowed to stand just inside the door. 30 min later we were allowed back in but many of their guests had left. Lucky for the newly weds, peolple that stayed were able to return to the reception like noting happened. I'm sure it will be a while before they can look back at it and laugh. Not only does the resort need updates, it needs to be cleaned. Don't recommend it at all.

Really needs a facelift!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/08
The hotel is very large and has a variety of rooms. We have stayed in many of the different rooms, and have found them to be shabby and run down. The last time I was there one of the mattresses was completely ripped apart. The whole place feels mildewy and "mushy." There are no elevators and many rooms must be accessed via multiple staircases--do don't bring heavy luggage! We will return as it is a setting for an annual conference. I guess the price is right... and the location is fabulous.

Save your money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/08
The breakfast at the hotel was hands down the worst I have ever had. And I spent 14 years in the Army! Terrible eggs, inedible potatoes, fruit tasted like dirt. I actually heard the manager tell some guy his wife had to pay for a meal because the guy's wife used his milk and their bowl and spoon for her "special diet" cereal. I watched them from my table. There were 15 paying people eating with them and her cereal was only a small zip lock bag, what a putz. The bathrooms at the hotel have NO vents. Nothing like a damp steam filled room to grow an interesting array of mold. The room lock failed regularly. Had to wait 15 min to get the door fixed. Of course while me and the car keys were on opposite sides of the door. I will never go there again nor recommend it. It is a shame, with just a little work this place could be a 5 star resort. It is really just an average roadside motel that happens to be on a beach.

St Pat's day
By spike1962, 03/21/08
Took a couple days away (Very Off Season) and had an Oceanfront Room. You'll pay for the view for sure, but it is spectacular. The room (king, non-smoking) was a bit small, but comfy. Bathroom was EXTREMELY SMALL! VERY cramped! Bed was comfy. We ate at a local grill not at the conference center, no breakfast when we were there. Looks expensive in the summer.

Relax and enjoy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/15/08
I love the setup and the atmosphere. The service is fantastic too. Would have loved a waterfront room...maybe next time:) It is a little pricy for the beach but we will continue to return as long as we can afford to.
