A definite "who-gives-a-s**t" attitude!
We picked this hotel because of the decent price and the fact that they allow pets for no additional charge. We got there after 7 long hours on the road at 7:00 at night only to find out the room on the first floor that we requested for the handicapped-accessible bathroom for my father, who just had back surgery, was not cleaned AT ALL by housekeeping. We went to the front desk clerk who, rather than believing us, looked in the computer and then told us, after we set eyes on the dirty room, that the room was, in fact, clean. Gee, guess our eyes were mistaken! Apparently, the housekeeper who was walking out the door as we were walking in had decided her day had been long enough and told the front desk the room was clean even though she left the beds unmade, room uncleaned, bathroom disgusting and trash everywhere. Rather than go and clean the room for us or asking us if we would like to wait for him to clean the room, he told us he could only accomodate us on another floor, without the handicap accessibility. Granted, my dad wasn't in a wheelchair or anything, I can't imagine if he had really REQUIRED a handicap room if the outcome would have been different. But the front desk clerk really had the same attitude as the ne'er-do-well housekeeper.....they just couldn't give a s**t! Oh well, tough luck! So off to another room we went. Unbelievable!
