A definite "who-gives-a-s**t" attitude!
We picked this hotel because of the decent price and the fact that they allow pets for no additional charge. We got there after 7 long hours on the road at 7:00 at night only to find out the room on the first floor that we requested for the handicapped-accessible bathroom for my father, who just had back surgery, was not cleaned AT ALL by housekeeping. We went to the front desk clerk who, rather than believing us, looked in the computer and then told us, after we set eyes on the dirty room, that the room was, in fact, clean. Gee, guess our eyes were mistaken! Apparently, the housekeeper who was walking out the door as we were walking in had decided her day had been long enough and told the front desk the room was clean even though she left the beds unmade, room uncleaned, bathroom disgusting and trash everywhere. Rather than go and clean the room for us or asking us if we would like to wait for him to clean the room, he told us he could only accomodate us on another floor, without the handicap accessibility. Granted, my dad wasn't in a wheelchair or anything, I can't imagine if he had really REQUIRED a handicap room if the outcome would have been different. But the front desk clerk really had the same attitude as the ne'er-do-well housekeeper.....they just couldn't give a s**t! Oh well, tough luck! So off to another room we went. Unbelievable!

Never book here.

I book a room for a weekend night and called up to find out that they booked it for the wrong night. I called corporate and the manage of the hotel. They would not honer anything. I even asked to meet in the middle. They said the did have rooms for the night I originally booked for but it would be $50 more. I would suggest another hotel in the area. There are plenty to choose from in the area besides redroof. I would never try to stay there again.

We will NEVER go back!

Very disappointed.Had to pay for wi-fi, no coffee pot,no hairdryer, BAD TV reception. Check out was at noon,however, a VERY agressive knocking house keeper begain slamming on doors in hallway shouting "ROOM SERVICE...(BANG BANG BANG)ROOM SERVICE". When I called front desk they stated house cleaning does begin at noon. There was no more sleeping going on therefore we began to leave. When checking out I asked again why they were so loud baggin on doors and vacuuming right outside rooms so early, the women at front desk just looked at me like I had 3 heads. no "sorry" nothing. No response! VERY POOR customer service. We will NOT return.

Very unprofessional, horrible bookkeeping

We ended up canceling our reservations 18 days before our reservation. The person I spoke with told me that my reservation had already been canceled which was not true because this was the first time I had called to cancel. When I noticed my credit card statement this month it said that I was charged for the room that I never stayed in and canceled prior to. I have been trying to get this resolved since July 4th with no one including a manager to call me back. I have never in my life had such a hard time dealing with a motel before than I have with this one. I am actually going to go to the main Red Roof inn Corporation to stress my disatisfaction with this hotel.

Horrible experience

Months before a special event in mid-April, I made a reservation for this motel, where my wife and I had stayed in a previous year. The location is very convenient and the price is right. Red Roof instead booked me for those dates in mid-March, charged us for not showing up on those wrong dates (which we only discovered when our credit card statement arrived), and had no room for us on the mid-April date. They said they were sold out; fortunately, we were able to find a room in a nearby motel. The desk clerk with whom I spoke could not connect me with a manager-- granted, it was a Thursday evening-- and then told me that the manager would not be available until Monday. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel chain.

Strongly recommend!

It is a great location. Not too far from Boston and in a quite neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay there and all the employees I interacted with were very personable and professional.
