Home Suites Inn, Waltham

Highly recommended. We fell in love with this hotel during our daughter's first year at Brandeis and she is graduating in May, 2007. This is our fourth year. Friendly and courteous employees, nice room, great, generous breakfast, reasonable price. We never until once recently had any complaints at all - just raves. It seemes to suit its name (home "sweet" inn) and became our favorite hotel anywhere; we even stayed there twice when we were visiting family that lived miles from Waltham. One rub, however. During our last visit, the room we were given when the hotel was fairly empty had a broken shower, a broken lamp and a few other problems. When we complained the following morning, a very courteous hotel clerk significantly lowered the price of our night's stay. Out of at least fifteen nights spent there over the past four years, all but one were exceptionally good. We are going back for graduation with fingers crossed that our experience will be back to the great one we always expect.
