The Inn at Scituate Harbor, Scituate

My familiy was looking forward to a trip to Scituate, MA which had been booked for two months. Upon confirmation and arrival, we were denied our reservation. They did not honor their committment to take a gift certificate issued to my wife and I as a gift. Family in tears... HUGE dissappointment in this Inn... I would recommend staying somewhere else to ensure you don't have travel issues. You would think with an empty parking lot... Employees eating lunch in the lobby and an Absent General Manager... There would be a need to have positive customer service relationship with young families who look to travel to Scituate for years to come... Just never again to the Inn...

just returned from Scituate after visiting family, yes the rooms were clean and so was the inn, but they have a few problems, they have a bar downstairs and the bar patrons take up every parking space on the lot, we had to park 3 blocks away at public parking if we went out in the evening, getting back at 7:00 pm didnt even help, they have a leaking roof that set off the fire alarm at 4:00 am, what a joy ! and lets not forget the HIDDEN CHARGES, we had a service fee added to our bill, when I asked I was told it was for housekeeping, I thought that was part of the daily rate, any other place we have stayed never charged for housekeeping, and lets not forget the rudeness of the clerk, when we checked out she layed my copy of the bill on the counter and went back to her computer, not so much as a thank you, hope you enjoyed your stay or have a safe trip. We travel to Scituate twice a year to visit our son and his family we will not be staying here again

Recently visited friends in Scituate and decided to stay at The Inn at Scituate Harbor. Loved the convenient location-short walk to Front Street shops,restaurants,and beautiful harbor views. We met with friends and took a short stroll to historic Scituate lighthouse....how picturesque! Rooms were very clean, new flat screen tv,bathrooms very tastefully appointed. Staff was pleasant and engaging, eager to answer the handful of inquiries we had during our stay. I found this Inn to be an excellent value,and I would definetly recommend a stay for those visiting this Scituate and the surrounding area. I'll be sure to return here on my next visit.

I recently stayed at the newly renovated Inn at Scituate Harbor, and from the moment I arrived my experience was positive. The exterior reflects a New England motif in every detail, and the rooms have a view of Scituate Harbor. As I entered the front door, the staff members and the owners made me feel as though I was a family member coming home. They were attentive to my every need. The reservation and the check-in process were extremely smooth. The Inn itself and the rooms were immaculate and quiet, the beds very comfortable, and all amenities performed well. The town of Scituate is quaint and lovely, and it provides easy access to Boston via train. The Inn has now become my home for any future trips to the Scituate area. I recommend this hotel very highly for both couples and families.

The inn recently opened under new management. It seems like a real family business - the staff can't do enough for you! Every room has a harbor view and town is an easy walk. Can't wait to get back!
