This is a hotel that at one time was probably one of the nicest on the east coast. The Lobby area is very fancy except for the faded, wearing carpet. The room was pretty much just that, a room. It had a television, free wireless internet (a plus), sleep number bed that had malfunctioning controls and a bathroom. The window, facing other windows of the hotel, was dirty. No refrigerator or microwave. They had a free breakfast buffet for hotel guests in the grill downstairs. I would have been rather ticked if I'd paid the $9.95 for it, rather limited, but since it was free, yes I ate there. Never quite open on time. In the evening, it was totally different, large portions of good food. Overall not a bad place, but not necessarily a good one, either. Glad I wasn't the one footing the bill.

I booked this hotel through Priceline and got a very good deal. My 4yr. son and I stayed for five nights. The location is really good and is in a good neighborhood and within walking distance of the harbor, camden yards, and Mount Vernon. If you look at the hotel's website it says they give you a parking voucher for a parking garage. They mislead you thinking it is free when in fact you have to pay $15.00/night for parking that is across the street about half a block. After you pay for the parking they give you the "voucher." The front desk staff was very friendly, but I do wish they would have been more informative. The lobby was beautiful. It was very historic we loved it. The carpet in the hallways wer worn, but not to bad. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. The ice machine on our floor didn't work I informed the front desk, but it was never fixed. I was disappointed to see that there was no mini fridge or microwave anywhere in the hotel which would have been helpful for reheating leftovers to save some money. I would recommend it to people.

After reading some of the reviews we were a little nervous... But to our suprise we loved it! We come every year to the Tow show.... It may be an older hotel, but it has so much charm. The staff was amazing! We really liked Jay Stanley (front office manager) Dwayne Davis and Jason Parker (valet) and Nick the bar guy! :)

Keep two eyes on your credit card record online after doing business with them! I made an online reservation with another guy to share a room and cancelled it online a week before the scheduled arrival date. They charged me one night's cost plus taxes though the cancellation policy clearly says this charge will incur only if the cancellation is within 72 hr of arrival date. I called them several times, depleting the day time limit of my cell phone! Even at the last moment, they tried to defend themselves by saying things like "Our record showed you parked your car here", "You didn't cancel the reservation for the other guy". Finally they promised me to wait for 7-10 business days for solving the issue. I'll update this message when I get a positive result.

Stayed here for two nights in May 2008. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You would not have much of a view from your room, given that this hotel is not in in the harbor. Also, valet is around $29 a night, but you can also park at an underground lot from acorss the street, which is about $15 a night. Overall, good experience.

Thanks to Lord Baltimore I was able to stay near my husband during his surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Safety, customer service, cleanliness, great beds, and rates for hospital patients mean that we will always come back again and again. Thanks to Lord Baltimore, we don't have to think twice as to where we'll stay in the future.

The only good thing is location. Parking is ridiculous when checking in a 5:00 on Saturday it took 30 minutes on line for the valet to turn me away for parking. Wanted to send me several blocks away to self park. All said and done $29 later my vehicle was parked. Beds are awful. If you like cheap air mattresses then their bed will work for you. FYI, a Sleep Number is a junk air mattress and should never be in a hotel. Don't know what they were thinking with that choice. Room was old and not very clean. Extreme noise for hours outside my room when people returned late night, slamming doors and people yelling. Not recommended in my plan again.

Beautifull! Large rooms and great service! When we walked into the lobby we were blown away...the rooms were so large and the sleep number beds were a real treat!

I have stayed here twice in the last 6 months. The location and price are great. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Beds so comfortable. Rooms are very large. One of my favorite things was a small dressing area outside the bathroom w/ a vanity shelf and mirror. The coffee pot was located here and there is a plug in for drying or rolling hair.
