Riverside Inn, Bangor

The staff are very friendly, and If I had a problem, they would go out of their way to fix it. The hospital is connected to the hotel, and I am only 400 something steps from my grandmothers hospital room. Extremely clean, and quiet. The christmas decorations in the lobby made everything feel very homey, warm and cozy. On christmas the front desk clerk allowed me to move to the Parlor Suite, for no additional cost. The free continental breakfast in the morning is always delicious. With bagels, english muffins, bread, cereal, grits, oatmeal, coffee, juice, cream cheese jelly's and jams. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the world, and would return in a heartbeat.

my room was 328 steps from my son's room in ccu. The desk personal & housekeeping dept were exceptional. Never being in the area before they were extremely helpful directing us to wherever we needed to be. They were all kind and had time to listen to ones story, they go out of the way to see that their guests needs are met. The continental breakfast was excellent nurishment for being ones day. They were installing a new heating system during our stay and went out of their way to make sure all their guest were comfortable and warm. I would reccomend this inn to anyone, whether they have a loved one in the hosp. or your just passing through-you won't be dissapointed.

I have stayed at your facility numerous times in the past due to sickness in my family. The room was very nice, as well as the staff. It was also much easier having the hospital right where I stayed.

We were on the road all day coming from Boston and ran in to the remments of Noel-high winds and black, driving rain. All we wanted to do was find a place to rest. The Riverview was a jewel, clean, quiet, close to downtown and a short drive to the malls. Nothing fancy, but sufficient.The front desk lady was precious-kind, courteous and funny all at once. The only negative thing was the height of the shower head. You had to duck under it to get your upper body wet! All in all, We'd return in a moment.
