Days Inn Kittery, Kittery

I am a diabetic and needed a frig that would hold my juice, medicine and water. They refused to give me a larger frig unless I paid for another frig. They told me that the lg frig was for an incoming person that night and I was staying 4 nights. Stay away from the hotels owned by Patel..who owns many Days Inn I found out today. Another guest was yelling so loud..OMG and other things late at night and scared me. I called the desk and they called the room and the wife..Mrs. patel got after me and told me "we don't need your business that bad"..stay away...I called customer care .this used to be Kittery Motor Inn Inc and now the Days Inn banner went up. Customer care filed the formal complaint for me. The hallways smells musty...dingy. The manager does not speak English well. This family owns many Days Inn hotels I found out today. Now I will never stay in another one again. Shame on this hotel for the lack of compassion the wife has..rude rude rude and did not care if I had no way to make my food cold as a diabetic I needed to eat properly.

We just spent a night at the Day's Inn in Kittery. Used Travelocity for the reservations (would never use it again either). The room was dirty, not well kept, not all items in room functioned. The hotel staff was not welcoming and very unfriendly. Would never go back there again.

I stayed at this place and got ripped $100 and man I tell you. This place has a pool unfit for pond scum! The rooms have doors that need to be rigged shut! The service was less than adequate! Between flushing the toilet and the ice machine barely being functional... the place is " top notch" with its paint peeling off the walls and rats packing their bags to leave! I have never been more appauled with an establishment in all my life! DO NOT EVER MAKE A RESERVATION AT THIS.... HOLE IN KITTERY MAINE! Do not be discouraged to go to Maine though, as it is a very great place to visit, just not at the local dump, aka Days Inn in Kittery!

The entire motel smelled of mold/mildew and the acrid odor of some deodorizer they use to try and cover it up. I should have run when I saw the algae encrusted pool! The paint was blistered and peeling off the walls in our room, the ice machine didn't work, the front desk had no hair dryers or irons, the free Internet access wouldn't connect, and the "deluxe" continental breakfast was a joke! This advertised $28 rate is wrong; they charged us $70 including tax, and that was with a discount coupon! Keep driving - you can find much better accomodations for the money. This place should not be part of the franchise; the management obviously cannot even maintain minimum quality standards. The best thing I can say is it didn't have any bugs. . . I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

the hotel was not clean and smelled on mildew. The desk clerk quoted me a rate at 83.74 w/tax I get thier and the rate was 99.00 plus tax. the clerk was rude and not to clean.

Wow, what a dive! The pool was closed, the halls smelled bad, and I feared for my safety. I checked in with my family, went out and found another place to stay, went back and checked out and lost $100 in order to salvage my vacation.

Granted, we needed a pet room, but the carpet should have been changed years ago. housekeeping left the door propped open one day, while crew was at work. Ceiling mounted light fell while we were in room, but front desk personel were conscientious and helpful. Stove and Refrigerator in room, did not work, the pool is useable by ducks only, and BTW that smell was curry.

Room looked dirty and entire hotel smelled like a TV lasagna dinner gone bad.
