Exacta Inn, Minden

Does this place own a vacuum?? The place was absolutely filthy. Mouse turds behind the bathroom door, nasty carpet that apparently has never been vacuumed, the non smoking room smelled like smoke covered over by cheap air freshener. Woke up with some sort of bites (spider I think). Restaurant is decent, pool was clean. Rooms were awful. If you're heading west just drive the extra 30 min to Shreveport. Only stay here if absolutely necessary.

It was a pretty nice room, not much space but comfortable.

Fox TV was out during the Cowboys game on Sunday, complained.. Fox TV was out during the TCU BCS bowl game on Monday, complained. Fox TV is out during the Iowa BCS bowl game on Tuesday, complaining. Will move my crew out tomorrow am!!

We went away for a weekend getaway and made booked this hotel. We stayed here only one night. First of all the price we were quoted a rate of $50.00 + tax over the phone but upon arrival it was $20.00 more and they would not give us the quoted rate.We arrived late at night and we did not want to have to search for another hotel so we stayed anyway. We were given 2 towels and 2 pillows only and they would not give us any additional. For 2 adults I would think you could have more than 1 pillow each. There was no hair dryer which would not be a big deal for a cheaper hotel but we paid $75.00 for this room so I would think they could furnish hair dryers. The Best Western was right across the road and was only $80.00 so we moved to that hotel which was extremely better.

Your hotel smelled like moth balls and smoke. Your bathtub was pealing and shot out crap and sewer water instead of normal water. The toilet bowl was cracked, and the manager and staff didn't do anything about any of it. No wonder you are the ONLY exacta inn hotel in the entire world. I suggest you make some changes with the little money you have.
