Do not Lose anything here

I lost a GPS unit here. I thought is was in my luggage when we left. It was not. We stopped back a week later. Housekeeping specifically remembered the GPS. The manager said she would check with the owner. The owner will not return phone calls. I have filed a complaint with Days Inn corporate but they do not get involved in lost and found situations; and with the Better Business Bureau. The comments by previous occupants are correct.
 
 
 
 
 
Don't bother stopping

This place looks nice from the highway but don't be fooled! Noisy, dirty rooms, dead insects, broken lights, crumbs on the floor, I could keep going on here. This place is over priced and they act like they're giving you a deal!

*** RED ALERT ***

place is very run down.... no proper lighting... Too noisey from upstair... call front desk at 11:00pm to complain.. it still continued till after 11:30pm. RED ALERT : was double bill on my credit card... the GM Chris Sproud has yet to return my calls over this... I have called him 4x in 2 days... Did call cc company... they will file a dispute and follow up on it this for me... DO NOT STAY THERE.. VERY UNSAFE AND DOUBLE CHARGED ME
 
 
 
 
 
a bad stay

I liked it because it was close to the I-10. Went in spoke to the GM of the hotel canceled my reservations from another hotel and stayed. They had a huge hole in the bathroom *GM said the other guest didn't say anything about it* NO towels, OK I had two wash, and two hand towels* kinda of hard to have 4 people take a bath with that. When I did call down they said they short and brought me some with makeup on them. The front desk clerk was great. Gm I felt was talking down to me.*And when I told her I was going to come on here and review the hotel She kindly handed me her Business card with her name on it, saying well this is my name Kim Hodgeson. I guess to make sure I didn't get the spelling wrong or something. OH, not to mention the pool had green stuff on the bottom of it *wouldn't let my kids get near it* oh and the tub When I was taken a shower the water didn't drain it was filling up almost to my knee's. They let us know at check-in they didn't have anything for breakfast but, they had a restaurant that served breakfast, *I also let the GM know she was like its open*as to be calling me a lier* and they are serving breakfast* Even tho no one was in the restaurant at breakfast time. went to the front desk and told the desk clerk, she said oh. GM was holding my 100.00 deposit in her hand. Oh to all you AAA members this hotel will give you a 10% discount when its their mistake. I even told GM I wasn't a AAA member. But, she said I gave you a 10 % discount. But, put it under AAA. I then said just give me my money please like 3 times. *meaning my 100.00 deposit that she was holding, she wounding up giving me a full refund on my room. I was like huh. Took the money plus my deposit and walking out she and the front desk clerk was just laughing as my family and I walked out. Oh and the poor soul that didn't have A/C in her room they gave her a AAA 10 % discount too. OH, and another thing When a GM has her office in the lobby she shouldn't have her friends sitting on her desk and having a good time when customers walk in I think its in poor taste.

Will Not Use Again

After checking in had to wait for an hour and half to get towels--after two calls to the front desk. Fixtures loose. Mix up in room types after confirming at least three times.

Watch out !

This was a very nice hotel, with a very nice courtyard pool we enjoyed our stay. However after retruning home I realized they had double charged my credit card for our stay. Upon calling to notify them of the problem ( calling every day for 4 days), they would not even return my call, and then only called because Yahoo Travel got involved and told them to credit the charges. So enjoy your selves but watch your credit card statements !!!!!!!!!!
