La Quinta Inn New Orleans Slidell, Slidell

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, was in town for business. I read the reviews before making reservations.... they were positive expect for couple of credit card issues. I should have taken them seriously. When I checked in they put a $734 hold on my debit card. I discovered this the next day they said would take it off it has been 5 days and there is still a hold on my card. I paid with cash on check out. Otherwise the hotel is clean, great location, the pool area is very nice...... but they have cost me lots of problems with my checking account with this hold on my card. I was only staying one night at first there was no need to authorize that much on my card..... I would recommed the hotel just pay cash!!! There is a Cracker Barrel and Walmart in the same parking lot very helpful. The staff was very nice and friendly.....just watch your credit card.

Dirty room, bugs/ants crawling on the furniture. Non smoking room had a bad smoke smell. Checked out after 1 night instead of the 7 I was reserved for. Terrible.

they over charged me for the room and i had to go through a whole intire mess of things to get my money back. not to mention when i got there my room wasnt ready. but they hotel itself was nice and clean and they free food was nice.
