RUDE DESK CLERK FILTHY ROOM
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/09
Our bathroom/shower was so astonishingly dirty, hairy, scummy, mildewy....that it brought tears to my eyes to even think of using it! Dirt piled up around the air conditioner, the room smelled, water tasted like dirt. It was all just gross. My husband called down to the front desk to ask about local places to eat &/or get a phone # for pizza delivery and the girl told him that "it is not my job to help you" and she got really snotty and hung up the phone on him. We went to the front desk to ask her what the problem was and she told him that she was not here to service him and called him some very profane names. We will NEVER be back and we will spread the word!!

Don't make the same mistake I did!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/07
Don't let the outside of the Days Inn Sheveport, Louisiana fool you. The room I stayed in (# 230) was horrible. The picture advertised on the Days Inn website doesn't look anything like the room I stayed in! Cracked Texture is hanging loose from the celling. Don't walk barefoot, carpet is filthy! It had brown sappy goo linking down the wall in the bathroom over the sink. (could be old coke or syrup) Tile and grout needed to be changed back in the seventies! Dirty floors in bathroom. The door had a gap in it so wide that you could have walked through it instead of opening the door. I woke up with itchy rash on my chest and back, bed bugs? Hey, seeing is believing, save the science exhibit for a certified laboratory and spend and extra 10 bucks and stay some place else thats clean!!!! The check in/out clerk could have been more attentive toward her clients. No smiles, no eye contact, but she did have the "care less' attitude...Expect oranges, apples a few dry pasteries for the continental breakfast. I checked out at 9:00am. No coffee was made, yet they had THREE empty coffee pots to go along with another 2 employees behind the counter, apparently finding way to much to do sitting down and talking amoungest themselves instead of paying attention to disatisfied customers. oh ya, the heater in the rooom worked good......I could have slept in a card board box and saved $51.00!! I WILL NEVER stay here again! And I will spread my experience to everyone I know like mayonnaise on bread!

Disgusting !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/13/06
This was the most revolting hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms smell bad, carpet dirty, bathroom dirty, furniture broken, cigarette holes in bed covers and chair cushions, airconditioner loud, grounds unkept, lobby area nasty, "free" breakfast is a joke. Hotel staff not friendly. Even had to change the sheets on our bed as they were not clean - and had to do it ourselves!! Do not ever ever stay here.

Needs Major Work
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/02/06
The Days Inn Airport in Shreveport needs to be demolished and replaced with a newer facility. The current structure is run down, dirty, in disrepair, and in general need of massive renovation. The rooms were dirty & moldy with a muddy, gritty scum residue covering the TV set, and tiling and wallpaper was coming loose from around the base of the shower. I would say it qualifies as a creepy motel in a very questionable neighborhood. Its greatest asset is its location to the airport and cheap rooms, but the rooms would have to be cheap, very cheap, to attract return customers. Even so, the Hampton Inn is adjacent to the airport and a much nicer motel. Pay more and stay there, you'll be glad you did.
