Hotel is fine, customer service is lacking

The rooms were nice, clean, and the staff was nice at the Marriott Baton Rouge. My problem was with the fact that they continued the operation of a faulty elevator after knowing the elevator was stopping above the floor.
Sadly, no fault of the nice people working in this Marriott, due to the absolute lack of customer service from the corporate office I am encouraging everyone I know to stay away from Marriott Hotels. The new motto in America should be - No customer service, no business. If someone respects you enough to take your money, they should show the same respect when there is a problem.
