Good Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/08
We stayed here for the NSRA. Nothing else seemed to be available and if so, it was too expensive. The people were friendly the prices were good. But you shouldn't have great expectations, the hotel is older. The carpet was stained but maybe vacummed. The mattresses were old and hard. The free breakfast was cereal, bagels, muffins..The indoor pool was cloudy but that was probably related to chlorine instead of cleanliness, the outdoor pool was closed. We were gone during the day only there to sleep. It wasn't a bad deal for the price but would not have paid more than what we did. It wasn't a horrible stay and it wasn't a fantastic stay.

not good enough for a homeless dog!
By carrie, 7/26/08
Nasty rooms! Open the door shut it and left and they refused to give me a refund! There was mold, it smelled awful and air didn't work! The lobby was nice!

Beautiful Hotel
By AdamW, 1/7/08
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the equipment in the gym was not good. Most of it was old or did not work, but the ret of the hotel was beautiful. The location was great...near the highway, a Walmart and an Asian buffet. I would definitely stay again!

Best hotel you'll ever find for $65
By CW, 6/25/07
We booked a room online and spent one night there, and when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for what we paid for the room. Hotel is very nice, is clean, has an indoor pool/hot tub, and also a music bar near the lobby. We paid $65 for the room with tax and our room was a suite with a living room, sofa, 2 tv's including a big flatscreen in the bedroom, and a king-size bed. Bathroom was very clean as was the rest of the room. Also had central air conditioning. Continental breakfast was better than average as well. Hotel is located in a pretty nice area with lots of food and stores nearby and is directly off the interstate so it's very convenient. If you're going to be in Louisville and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, this hotel is perfect! It was nicer than most rooms I've stayed in that were 2x the price.

Enjoyable stay
By John L, 4/21/07
Always a good place to stay, had reserved two doubles, got 1 king bed instead, other than that very good. 2nd stay there, and will probably stay again sometime.

Good, even without a car
By e s, 1/27/07
Complimentary airport shuttle will also take you to restaurants, and return to take you back to hotel. Accessible room did not have roll-in shower, but tub had bench and many handholds, as well as hand held shower. Room was clean, staff friendly. In-room high speed access included, but outlets were hidden behind furniture, and none were unused - I had to unplug a lamp to plug in my charger, and plug my phone charger in the bathroom where the hair dryer was. Continental breakfast was adequate; I have stayed at places that offer more, but it is not a full breakfast, after all. My room was next to the indoor pool and whirlpool; it was noisy until 10 when it closes, but not unbearable. There is a lounge (nightclub) in the motel, but no restaurant -- but they will transport you to your choice of restaurant, so it is better than being stuck with a "motel style" restaurant. There is also a public computer in the lobby if you forgot your laptop.

Why stay somewhere else?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/12/06
We started going to Brownsboro Inn about 7 years ago when my wife's mother was nearby in a nursing home. From the first day, the management was kind and attentative to our needs. We have come back there again and again, and have enjoyed the rooms, the pool, the front lobby, the service, and just about everything they provided. Best of all, the price could not be beat. Looking forward to going back.

clean and helpful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/3/06
Well-maintained hotel with courteous front desk staff who seek to make stay more pleasant. Continental breakfast typical, good not extradordinary. Comfortable beds though room a little drafty from wind under the door. Usual issue of poor hotel lighting. Amenities get an A+ - coffee, hairdryer and nice fluffy towels. Plenty of hot water and very clean bathrooms. Would definitely stay again - good meeting area!!

Tear it Down-Start Over
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/12/06
Desk clerk lied about ongoing pool parties for 2- 13 yr. olds and put us poolside. Room was 87 degrees. Moved to another room. Toilet was clogged, no hotel maintenance.Day of checkout in the a.m.,I found a baby cockroach crawling on my bedside table. Booked and pre-payed 2 nights-2 rooms, they locked us out after breakfast-1 night. Manager demanded to see my reservation papers and I had to walk around the mess in the passages to take it to her. When I showed it to her, she didn't apologize, she said haughtily "Well, that's what I asked you for, all you had to do was show it me!" and she turned around and left the desk. No compensation-No apologies.Hotel grounds, pool and rooms do not match lobby, very deceiving!
