Holiday Motel, Cave City

Located conviently on main street. Looked good from front. Lobby locked. Rang bell and someone answered but we could not go in. Asked for a non-smoking room and to look at room. Given a key. The room reaked of smoke and was very shoddy and small. We were then given another key to look at another room which was a little bigger and cleaner. Was told this was the best room in the hotel and that was not saying a whole lot. The price they wanted was $65.00 a night plus tax. Very high for what was being offered. Would not recommend unless you plan on living in the hotel, which some of its tenants were doing.
